Staff were lovely and very friendly. The bedrooms are smart. They have a lovely indoor pool. They have a free bus to Albufeira. There are a number of different eating options (although there are a couple of fantastic local restaurants nearby). Easy path buit to get to the local beach.
I thought they could have made better use of the outdoor areas and have more seating areas with sea views.

Excellent breakfast.
The hotel should have more attractions to children. We missed a fancy bar by the pool or close to the beach opened during the night.

The resort is one of the best in algarve. Good facilities and location. Good reception staff. Good spa.
The other staff in the bar and resturant next to the pool wasn't good specially for a five stars hotel. We were waiting gor our lunch for morr than one hour and after that they bring it wrong so we wait for more 30 mns. No service at the pool. Everything was clean but the towels wasn’t clean which is unexpected thing in a 5 stars hotel.

Huge property, good for a family, great location and not far from the beach.
Sao Rafael beach isn't very swimming friendly - not shallow for sure, unfortunately it's not clean too (green algae etc.). We went with a half-board option (breakfast and dinner) which didn't include water and drinks!

The room is nice. Stuff is friendly. The garden beautiful. The gym is good. Parking is free. Nice palmtrees around the pool. Stuff serves a small fruit cocktail for free at the pool. Coffee and one bottle of water daily for free at the room.
Breakfast is „okay“, but for a hotel of this category it should be more rich. Deck chairs at the pool too close, people lie next to each other, really narrow. Direct access to a public beach (5min walk), but it was so crowded and full of algas. The Wifi internet is very slow, sometimes unusable.

“Very nice hotel. Not brand new anymore but still modern. A lot of space: big, clean rooms, comfortable beds, huge shower, nice room balcony. Breakfast offers a lot of choice and the outside terrace is fantastic (sea view). Nice gym, good facilities. Next to a beautiful beach. A great place to stay for a week!”
