The staff at this hotel is what really makes this the place to stay in Cancun. Everyone we encountered were all so amazing, friendly, tended to any issues that came up very quickly and didn't make me feel like a bother. The facilities were awesome and their beach was breathtaking. Be sure to check Luis at the beach bar for a burger as well!
Staff in every area (front desk, bellhop concierge, wait staff, etc) were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was located right on the beach with walk out and for the price, was much better than other places we considered. Angel at the Spa did an exceptional job with a massage - I had one on the beach and one at the spa and both were wonderful in their own ways. I loved that based on the room we got, we also got our own personal cabana so we never had to wake early to secure a chair on the beach. The beach was kept clean and I like that the vendors were NOT allowed to come up to us since I've been at other resorts where we've been pestered to buy things every few minutes, which can make it hard to relax.
Had we stayed for longer than the 4 nights we had been there, I feel we would have run out of the best types of things to eat while there. I would have liked to see more item choices at the sit-down dining. This was my first time at an all inclusive & because I like to try new things, I would personally also like to see a cocktails/drinks menu of some sort instead of having to know what you wanted.
It's an ok resort
We enjoyed being on the ocean and the staff were friendly.
We requested and booked an oceanfront king-size room & we were provided with an oceanfront that's view was blocked by palm trees and the room had two double beds. When I told them of what we requested they were willing to give us the room that we had requested but not until the next day. The back glass door to our room was also broken and someone could easily access our room. We had to call someone to come fix the door late at night. The food was also not good.

The hotel was clean, the food was good, and everyone was friendly and engaged. Excursions were easy to schedule and we had a great time every day. Plan to return with kids in tow next year. Definitely recommend.
Losing my GoPro to the beautiful ocean waters.... :( Like all of Cancun, be prepared to hear many soft sell pitches.

I liked the proximity to shops. The variety of restaurants and services.
No AC for 3 days!!! Mo called numerous times! I had a beautiful parking lot view, terrible customer service with refund after upgrade failed. Leak in room, musty smell in room. Essentially a motel room.
Bait and Switch!!!
Beach was great, but that is more a credit to Cancun than this particular hotel. Staff was pleasant and attentive
The room offered was worse than a low-end roadside motel. They had "helpful" front desk that offered the room expected for an additional $50(lagoon view)-150 (ocean)/night. The lowest end room shown on the website was nothing like the room adjacent to the parking lot that we were given. It was so bad that they actually gave us the "upgrade" to the room we paid for free of charge rather than attempting to get the extra $50. To be clear this is a three star hotel at best and I walked in expecting that. The motel room I was given wasn't even offered at the 2-star properties that I viewed on the travel sites (kayak/expedia/priceline) prior to booking
Location! Service - extremely attentive staff Beach - gorgeous. NIce sand, lifeguards on duty Pool - lovely Beautiful Hotel. True to the photos. You can also visit the sister resort in Playa del carmen - beautiful. Just don't take the bus there! I would rent a car.
Food - not impressive. Cafeteria quality with the exception of a great breakfast and the Italian restaurant. Deserts were not good Spa service good value, but lacked luxury. Staff was nice.

The tours offered in the hotel were about 20% more expensive then booking online

esperaba mejores comidas y hay cierta gente del personal que por que eres mexicano no tienen el mismo trato que tienen con los extranjeros, y pues uno tambien paga no le regalan nada.

Nos ofrecieron vista al mar, y resulta que era vista lateral. Vista al mar, realmente se denominaba "vista frontal". Yo quería vista al mar de verdad y no lo que me dieron. Me hiciero firmar un cargo en abierto de la visa durante mi estancia. Creo que es un abuso con el cliente.

Drinks inluded in the All Inclusive Plan are not so good. If you want a good bottle of wine you have to pay it extra.
