We've stayed here twice - both times while visiting our son who is staying at Northeastern for the summer. It is an easy drive of only a few minutes between Northeastern and the hotel. Our room was very nice on both trips, and the staff is friendly. It has the feeling of a boutique hotel. If you like to run, the hotel is just across the street from Olmstead Park and from there you can run on green space in either direction - including right to the Charles River. Our only complaint is the parking. If you can find a spot on the street, you can park for free (a plus). And several nights, we have been able to do this. But if you can't find a free spot, valet is your only option and, for the cost, it was surprising to find that the staff could not drive a standard shift. My husband had to valet it himself, but they still charged us the full price (which was almost as much as a downtown hotel). On the other trip, we drove my car, which is automatic, but when we asked for it to be brought around, they couldn't locate the valet. So we had to go get it ourselves. We're flexible, so not a big deal, but it would have been nice if they had acknowledged the issue and offered to reduce the parking charge.
