This is the second hotel I stayed at on Contadora Island. The first, The Point. The Points location is excellent with gorgeous ocean view, and the room was a bit moldy. (A big issue for all buildings during rainy season.) B&B Gerald though was dry! The main view is the center courtyard, that is a bit messy and not refined. Mimi the sweet pet deer makes it all worth wild though! The top floor is open with seating and views of the water.
The staff was really nice and helpful. Big breakfast. Super comfortable bed. God linens. Lots of channels on the tv. Some things in the bathroom were rusted due to humidity and the outdoor shower didn't work.
I loved that the staff and owners were able to maintain that wonderful relaxed island feel while still providing an exceptional level of customer service. Thank you Perla Real Inn for making my family (especially our 2 year old) feel so very welcome.
