really never had a problem with the red roof in, there always upgrading things will be staying again.
Nothing. The staff were completely rude, no help whatsoever. Everything. The front desk staff didn't try and do anything to accommodate me when I booked a reservation 2 weeks ago and they didn't reserve the room. I stayed at Holiday Inn which was much nicer but a little bit more expensive for only a bed. Kayak really needs to check their hotels.
King sized beds, refrigerator, microwave and coffee makers in room were all appreciated. There were plenty of food choices at breakfast and breakfast was clean and stocked frequently during the morning. The pool was so busy we decided not to use it, but we used the workout facilities, which were larger than we have previously experienced in hotels and all in good working order. The only concern we had was with a couple of minor cleanliness issues. They were small oversights and nothing that would prevent me from returning or recommending the hotel. Overall, great value for our money and I would most likely choose this hotel on return visits.
The room was large and had 2 King beds, which was great for a family of 4. The entire hotel smelled musty, like a basement in an old house. We all workout and I generally look for hotels with good workout rooms. The room here was big and had good equipment. The big problem was the workout room smelled so musty that we couldn't even use the room. The smell was just awful.
This is a sharp motel. Recent updates. We generally stay at budget hotels and this place was among the best we've seen. Also, wide variety of restaurants are within a few blocks. The only criticisms I had (granted, they are nit-picky): 1) the tv is a modern flat screen but mediocre quality 2) very small breakfast area
The bedding and carpeting looked like it had been updated recently. However, the updates were poorly executed. The room was sloppily painted with lots of visible patch holes, the tile was poorly installed in the bathroom, and there were holes in the ceiling around the vent. The bed mattress was too soft and the bed frame was loose making it difficult for two people to sleep together. For breakfast, they would only put out a few items at a time so you had to constantly try to find someone to ask for more of this or that. I also did not feel safe and would not stay there by myself or with children.
