Ventajas: Everything I was extremely impressed with thier service and how they took care of you They always made you feel special from The moment you stepped in One will always go to a Hotel that will wellcome you back .. remember you , appreciate your stay and give you a better deal everytime you come back .. that is in essence what makes a Great Hotel from a good hotel I have stayed at many hotels in London ..some of the main ones ie landmark etc But I have never been treated to such a high level of service than at Langham Every call was answered with my name and that was there everywhere you went it was very personalized And the most important thing was that you were remembered , appreciated for coming back and given a better deal and Servive for your continued patronage It was an amazing expirience and Langham is the Hotel for us Every depts service was exceptional

Desventajas: Rooms had issues. Although well furnished & comfortable, the first room was above the subway so really disruptive until after midnight, with trains every few minutes, making sleep almost impossible. We asked to be moved & the second room was somewhat below ground level. The windows were set very high, they overlooked the air conditioning unit for the kitchen & therefore lacked any view, let alone natural light. I might stay at the hotel again but only if I could speak to reservations regarding the room.

Desventajas: Este es mi hotel favorito en las muchas ciudades que he visitado. Es encantador y elegante, con habitaciones grandes y cómodas por cualquier nivel y el personal es extraordinario, no hay apenas una época en los últimos 20 años, que el Landmark no ha sido mi "ir a" la ubicación durante los viajes anuales que intento hacer a Londres.

Desventajas: The room was noisy from neighbouring family with children running around shouting . The pillows are not plump enough . At breakfast the buffet was not topped up regularly & when it was the egg & mushrooms were not hot. The spa had run out of Robes & I would suggest a few more than 4 beds around the pool I don’t wish to sound so negative , our first trip to this hotel few years ago was fabulous , hence our return. Most of these problems I am sure wouldn’t occur on future visit

Si quieres ir a Harrods puedes caminar en una dirección, si quieres ir a Pickadilly, anda unas pocas cuadras en la otra dirección, si quieres ir a un autobús turístico, solo hay que cruzar la calle ... Este hotel está en el centro de lo que quieras hacer. El portero me recordaba por mi nombre y lo más importante, el nombre de mi hijo de 13 años todos los días. Desventajas: NO PUDE DORMIR NADA porque por debajo del hotel pasa el metro cada y 15 minutos hay una vibración y un sonido horrible!!! Además, el lunes por la mañana a las 8.30am me desperté con un ruido terrible ya que en la calle hacia donde daba mi habitación estaban haciendo obras y comenzaron a taladrar durante toda la mañana. Tuve que recoger e irme de la habitación. Pienso que tenían que habérmelo comentado cuando hice el check in ya que habría escogido otra habitación más silenciosa, la verdad que todo lo positivo que tenía el hotel desapareció con esta pésima experiencia. Cuando me quejé en el check out lo único que me dijeron fue que la próxima vez me asegure de pedir una habitación en otro piso!!! Y no me hicieron pagar un chocolate que había cogido mi hermana del minibar... sinceramente me esperaba mucho más por parte del hotel.

Uno paga por 8 horas, usa 1 hace un log out y el tiempo sigue corriendo. Nadie se hace cargo, dicen que ellos no brindan el servicio. El personal nocturno no brinda informacion sobre ningun lugar ya que dice que de noche trabaja y no tiene tiempo de salir a ningun lado. Esto es un hotel 4 estrellas?

Desventajas: The delay response on our orders, they take more than 30 min. to do what we ask for. Also, we have booked a room with a garden view (which cost a way more than a city view). HOWEVER when we came over to the hotel, the receptionist informed us that all rooms with garden view is occupied. This is a lack of credibility!

Desventajas: Majority of the staff are helpful and friendly but there is an area for improvement. For example one male staff of indian decent usually didn’t like to help find solution for any problem and put blame on guest or just avoid responsibility.

Desventajas: We stayed in an Executive room with access to the Lounge where breakfast was free. And as the old adage goes.... you get what you pay for ! The eggs were inedible and other food seemed stale. No bottles of water / diet soda in the lounge. Over an 8 night stay, we ate there ONCE. There was LOUD renovation noise all day long. The room requires more lighting and the decor seems very dated. Housekeeping needs help - some days they replaced the hand towels, some days they didnt. Some days the room wasnt turned down till past 6 pm. We had an important package delivered to the hotel - left with the Concierge. On checking, they said they had not received it. We followed up the next day and they "found it". Apologized for not delivering it earlier. Overall, the Concierge service is condescending at best.

The night manger that was on the clock at the time, helped us and arranged a cab with reasonable price which saved us from a tedious journey. Kudos to him( I hope I am remembering his name correctly, I think it was Pershat). Thank you!

Desventajas: The hotel moved its check in hour to 3 pm. This can be quite late for travelers like me, who arrive by early morning flights and then have to wander around before getting to their room. Also, the breakfast used to be richer (more variety), but the food is still fresh and of good quality.

Desventajas: The vent was always on, which I presume is to ventilate the room considering it was on the basement floor. So although it did no bother me, a light sleeper might find it slightly noisy. You can hear the tube from outside when it passes by, and the room shakes a little when it happens, but again it did not bother me.

Desventajas: There was nowhere to put our suitcases and the space between the bed and the drop-down table was a bit tight. The Notting Hill Carnival was on that weekend and some hotel guests decided to continue partying in their hotel rooms and the corridor until 5 in the morning both the Saturday & Sunday night without any consideration of the noise level of their music. On the Sunday night we were exhausted from the hot and long day we had had, so were phoned Reception to complain. Staff immediately responded and thankfully so did the hotel guest

Desventajas: The first room we were given (919) was in a terrible state. Musty smell, stains and hairs on bedlinen, broken but patched bath panel. Far from what you'd expect from paying £330 for the night. We then complained and were ungraded (not sure you could call it that) to an executive room (550). The tv kept on turning on and off, and when on wouldnt show channels. The bedlinen had holes. The bathroom decor was crumbling (paint) and old. We were then interrupted by Housekeeping at 8.45am who wanted to service the room. Would not stay again.

Que está super cerca de las Baker St.,Hyde Park, Madame Tussaud, y de las principales paradas que conectan con los aeropuertos de Londres. Andando puedes llegar facilmente a Oxford st, y Picadilly circus (4 kms). Tambien como punto orginal que en realidad es un Pub donde sirven buenas birras y desde el que se accede a las habitaciones por una pequeña puerta.

Really good area the food was on par with the other publove hostels. I stayed here a few months back and it seemed like the staff at the time were struggling a bit this time around new staff and everythink seems to be running like clock work really good vibe the night porters are wicked bar staff really cool, showers always hot worth a stay

Desventajas: There is no lift & the stairs were narrowed....especially when you have big bags & more than 1 luggage. My rromate actually booked from 11-15 Sept but she checked out on the 12 Sept due to the room is too small. Not as per in the picture shown. My room is a Female Room for 3 pax but during the last night.....middle of the night, me & another lady from Brazil were awaken when the hostel staff came in to our room & asked whether we mind having a guy to stay in our room....since it was after midnight & both of us are checking out the next morning...we have agreed but if we were to check out later....we will not allow as this room is stated for FEMALE ONLY.

Desventajas: Corto y al pie: la higiene. Aunque en la descripción de servicios ponga “hotel hipoalergenico” no lo es por mucho. Los pasillos y habitaciones están forradas de una moqueta gris llena de suciedad no apta para alérgicos. Los baños, lavabos y duchas, necesitaban una mano de lejía, con el handicap que al ser compartidos te comes tambien la huella biologica de otros huespedes.

Desventajas: The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at after 4pm. Then the receptionist told us he didn’t know When the room would be ready, not long hopefully, so we used a friends room to get ready and to leave our luggage as we had dinner plans. When we arrived back at the hotel after 9pm, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room which was clearly under renovation, dirty, unmade bed empty drink cartons and rubbish all over the bathroom floor. We went back to reception and the receptionist was unaware of the filthy room or that it was getting renovated. Room2 on another floor, no air conditioning, broken and when the maintenance guy came he said the hotel was aware but told him to show his face to keep the customer happy. What a diabolical way to treat paying customers. I WON’T BE RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL, YOUR ONLY INTERESTED IN MY MONEY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SHAME ON YOU.

Ventajas: Lo mejor la ubicación en Marble Arch al comienzo de Oxford Street.
Desventajas: Para empezar ya no se llama Cumberland sino que es un Hard Rock Hotel, algo que podrían haber avisado cuando reservamos o a posteriori pero no lo hicieron y cuando llegamos nos causó bastante confusión a nosotros y al personal de recepción que directamente nos mandó a otro hotel. Finalmente aclaramos el lío, pero no gracias a la ayuda del personal del hotel. Hasta las 15H no te garantizan que puedas acceder a la habitación (cosa que para ser justos, avisan en la reserva) pero ni siquiera puedes hacer el check-in!!! Incomprensible. Al intentar acceder a nuestra habitación por la noche nos encontramos con que estaba ocupada por otros huéspedes!!!!!! Obviamente nos quejamos en recepción y nos dieron otra habitación pero con unas excusas del todo absurdas y sin disculpas por parte de la gerencia del Hard Rock. Todavía veo la cara de susto de los "ocupas" de nuestra habitación...... En general es un hotel MUY ruidoso y que estaba claro no estaba preparado para la cantidad de huéspedes que tuvieron ese fin de semana (Pride, BST, etc). Lamentándolo mucho no voy a volver a hospedarme aqui, de hecho si me hubieran avisado con antelación del cambio de titularidad hubiera cancelado la reserva ya que el hotel es caro y no ha merecido la pena la experiencia.

Ventajas: No es el Cumberland de antes ni mucho menos, me confundió por completo internet. El emplazamiento es inmejorable. En el hall se pueden comer bocatas que la gente compra en la calle. Los ascensores 2 por la mañana estan muy ocupados por el personal de limpieza de las habitaciones. El A. Acondicionado no funciona correctamentejo. Las perchas para toallas en el baño estan mal distribuidas.

Ventajas: Great location if you are attending any event in Hyde Park. Complimentary breakfast: just pastries, fruit and coffee in the lounge. There is no other dining on site, but loads near by. Great staff, all very helpful and welcoming. We had a fantastic room, spacious and we'll equipped. Room was quiet even though we were at the heart of London.
Desventajas: No water bottle refill available on the ground floor (although there was an ice machine). We were given free water in plastic bottles though. I tried to phone the hotel several times the day before our arrival, but was unable to get through.

Desventajas: It is very shabby - not unclean per se, but forlorn and uncared-for. Some of the staff were friendly, but most indifferent. They seemed overworked.

Desventajas: The staff were not welcoming, when I checked out the receptionist didn't not say good morning or good bye, they did not speak to me. When I arrived back after an evening out about 12 30, the receptionist didn't even look up and say good evening. The decorated is badly in need of a lick of paint, very dated and dirty. The mattress on my bed was completely shot, the springs were gone.

Desventajas: The furniture old and in very bad conditions. Scratches on the furnitures, paper on walls broken and dirty, cover of the lamp broken and very dirty. No mini bar in then room and not even a bottle of water. Wi fi very low and not often working. Really not possible to work if you need to.
