The room, the food, evrything is ok. The dresscode for the dinner is very strange idea at 30 degrees when people take their vacantion. And the result is empty resturant.
Location (best beach on Mahe), service, helpful staff, a la carte restaurant (food is excellent, but expensive), nice walkway along the beach. Great stay overall. You have to walk away from the hotel for a better part of the beach if you want to swim with children. In front of the hotel is the coral part suitable for snorkling only. The bath tub and shower in Bougainvillea Creole Suite are right in the middle of the room, which is a bit confusing and not convenient for families with kids. Quite a long walk to the nearest cafes/restaurants if you`d like to eat somewhere out of the hotel. Small swimming pool.
Location, comfort and service is excellent It is very expensive to eat at the hotel
Location, staff, envairoment it is quite expensive.
at trip advisor pepople dont say good about this hotel, it´s not true very good hotel. i booked the chepeast room and it´s enough. food not special i eat much better at the orangerie at la digue
Perfect location, very friendly & helpful personnel, big comfortable suite (unexpected upgraded from Hibiscus room to Orchid Creole suite), lovely pool with umbrellas with free towels and water. One tip: absolutely wonderful hotel with most friendly and helpful people, but use the facilities (food & drinks) somewhere else. Facilities in the hotel are overpriced: Buffet: €135 total for 2 persons (incl. 1 beer and 1 coke). Laundry: €80 for 9 pieces of clothing, 1 hour massage: €86 The bathroom was very outdated with minimal comfort (shower was way too low for my boyfriend and couldn't be adjusted). €35 was silently added to our bill because we accidently lost 1 very worn flipper that we borrowed from the hotel).
just the place is good. The room is nice and comfortable the employees are extremely helpful and friendly. the breakfast for a 5 Star hotel was just poor. 300 Euro for a room and a buffet for a poor man. Sorry 3 star hotels in Eastern Europe are by far better. The restaurant within the Hotel complex requires also urgent improvement of their dishes. A beach hotel in the middle of the fish richest places in the world and an Hotel restaurant that supplies only Tuna Steak and Red Snapper fillet for 90 Euro upwards. This can only leave a guest with the impression that this is a fuck up. I ended up to go to other restaurants just because the choice of food is too limited and overpriced there. A warning for all the vegetarians sorry guys salads are restricted to cucumber, tomato and green salad leaves only
