From our front door, you could see the ocean, and within a few steps you could reach said waters. The room was was clean and comfortable for our three day stay. We made use of the regular sized fridge (nice!) and the toaster oven was an added plus. It felt more at home than a normal motel stay could have. The toilet would run if you didn't keep the handle upright. The towels they looked dated. And they were colored which I didn't like at all. But that was quickly remedied with a trip to the Dollar Store for white towels.
'Old Florida'. Full of plants and flowers in large, shaded garden, but not 'manicured'. Beds very comfortable, Inn very casual. Wonderful location, just a couple of miles from everything, and walking distance to good, waterfront restaurant. Liked everything. Will be back for longer stay.
An excellent vegan breakfast (I did not even miss bacon)! Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful outside eating areas with lush flowering gardens. Great to use the plentiful beach gear and bicycles for free! An easy walk to a sparsely populated beach. There was a 5% charge if you paid with a credit card (this was not published anywhere). The upstairs neighbor had 'heavy feet.'
Staff went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel welcome. It was perfect. I would have liked to have a throw blanket in the room, but I'm sure the hotel staff would have found one for me if I had asked.
The place was very clean and the surroundings peaceful and beautiful as always. Location was perfect, just a few yards from the beach. According to the hotel, Priceline hadn't contacted them about the reservation. It was an awkward moment in which I wasn't sure if there was going to be a room or not.
