Beautiful hotel! The character dining at Garden Grove restaurant was awesome, have your kids bring their autograph books with them. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to families/kids. We ate dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and despite being more upscale Italian, the waiter was very engaging with our kids and was happy to make them chocolate milk with dinner! The grotto pool was beautiful, large, and poolside food/beverage service was on the ball. Nothing really not to like, just some advice: Prices are expensive but hold value. This isn't a Super 8 but then again they treat you way better than a Super 8. Just remember EVERYTHING at Disney World is expensive. Also this: this hotel is on Disney property but is NOT a Disney hotel. You still get the same perks like early park entry and free shuttles to the parks, but what you don't get is free shuttle from/to the airport on the Disney Magical Express. A Disney rep will tell you to use Mears transportation saying it's cheaper than a taxi but don't. Our taxi, with tip, was cheaper than Mears' fare plus we didn't have to wait the half hour for the Mears shuttle. We were in a taxi in about 5 minutes at the airport.

Closet is too small. With the ironing board in the closet you can't fit anything in there. I understood this room #444, was newly constructed....has anyone tried hanging a suit in this closet? very poor planning. Secondly air conditioning was malfunctioning when I was there. I doubt I'll stay at the Swan again. p.s. Note I didn't mention the bomb scare...that could happen anywhere. The closet is ridiculous.

The boat ride from the hotel to Epcot, boardwalk, and Hollywood Studio's. Our reservations were for the Swan hotel but when we arrived we were told we were at the Dolphin hotel. We asked why we were there our reservations were for the Dolphin hotel. We were advised we must have read the confirmation wrong. The woman at the Dolphin hotel asked if we had the confirmation. I pulled it up on my phone and she confirmed it showed the Swan. She asked if she could make a phone call. She made the phone call in front of us and advised the person on the other end what I had and what their system showed. She was told we were supposed to be at the Swan and they corrected it in their system. The lady apologized and said that she could check us in but we would have to get our key's from the Swan because their systems were different. When we came back the bellhop that was going to assist us with our bags said very sarcastically, "ladies you are at the wrong hotel. I will tell you very slowly how to get there." We told him that we went to the Dolphin and they found that we were supposed to be at the Swan. He told us he would assist us with our bags once we got our keys. When we turned around he ducked into the back and a different bellhop advised us that he went on break so he would assist us. The room we were in smelt like mildew and we were advised that there were no other rooms available.

The room was fantastic. Updated and positively posh. The 12th floor view was incredible with fireworks shows from two Disney parks. The in-room Starbucks was a nice touch. I found a new favorite Disney hotel. Thanks!
Location to Epcot is a huge benefit. Great staff. Remodeled bathrooms are great. Older facility is noticed.
Hotel was comfortable and clean Our room was next to the elevator so we didnt sleep well from the noise of the motor constantly.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was elegant and huge! We loved the swan! Nothing!
