The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean. The pool area was clean. The beds so comfortable. Breakfast area was cramped.
OK for travelling through. We paid the extra money compared to other hotel for the pool/spa. Pool/spa was closed. Front desk person was dealing with another upset customer who's room spa was not working. She gave the women a 20% off. I asked since the general pool and spa was closed could we get the same credit. She said yes, printed the rate which i noted the reduction. She said it would show up on my credit card as a reduction. A week later no credit. No i'm disputing through priceline to get the credit. What a bother.
I was there to spend a romantic night with my boyfriend and the staff there was inappropriately asking me about it. It made me embarassed and uncomfortable.
Near I -15 After a predicted light snow, they did not shovel, salt or plow. As a result I was unexpectedly seriously injured. No assistance or human kindness offered by hotel staff; I had to beg the clerk for directions to the nearest hospital. Seriously, not even " are you ok?" let alone an offer to call an ambulance or help me find medical care.
The room was so clean and comfy. Bed great. I thought it should have had a better "Star Rating". Only one ice machine on main floor but great taste. Breakfast area small for size of hotel. Hotel was new and room was clean, comfy, and spacious. Bathroom was good size. Refrigerator froze everything.
Apparently the rooms were recently renovated so it was very nice! It was very convenient to have a microwave & fridge. The bed was definitely comfortable!
Everything was pretty clean. The pillows and sheets were really comfortable, i really didn't want to leave the room. It was a great value staying here at the Sleep Inn.
From the time I made the reservation through final checkout everything was flawless. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were amazingly clean. Wish more places were like these guys. Definitely looking forward to our next stay with these folks.
Cleanliness is huge for me concerning hotels. I didn't blacklight anything, but everything I could see was satisfactory. The room was warm and the cooler didn't help much, but it wasn't unbearable.
The staff were courteous when presented with issues regarding our room. I also loved having the mini kitchen area in my room. The room seemed like it was an older section of the hotel. The refrigerator was dirty & had mold in it. However, the staff replaced it after I showed them a picture of it. There was a great view of the mountains but the window was so dirty it was disappointing. The pool was closed during our stay. I purposely book hotels with pools for the kids so this very frustrating.
We requested a refrigerator in our room & the refrigerator was leaking so we were upgraded to a room with a kitchenette. Front desk, and bell hops were nice and helpful. Room service was delicious, convenient & quickly served. Pool and hot tub were fun for the kids. There was a long line to check in & only 1 person working the front desk.
It is very convenient for those who have business at or near Brigham Young University or for those who may be visiting their children at the university. The outside doors have issues. I had to go to the front desk several times to get replacement keys because they would not open the outside doors at night.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the furnishings were good. The room hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed. The shower. Curtain was so crusted with grime it stunk, and the sink wouldn't drain.
Very disappointed super 8 need to take there name off this place not up to there standard. Dirty
This was the worst hotel experience. The staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. The hotel was extremely dirty. Do not stay here. You will regret it if you do. There are plenty of other hotels within walking distance of BYU that are clean with friendly staff.
Price, location Service was slow
I loved how fancy the hotel was and the staff was pretty friendly. I paid by the day and so it started out with $51 the first night, then $63, then $79 and finally $146. I guess they wanted me to pay all 4 days at once so I'm not cheated. What else could I do? I wasn't sure WHEN I could go back home!!!!!! Also, the water kept going from hot to cold to hot to cold etc.
the location - breakfast The smell - the TV reception - the loose toilet seat - cheapest toilet paper ever - dirty window -
Proximity to BYU We called directly for reservations, and they booked us in August instead of September, and billed us as a no-show. When we did arrive and got our key, we opened our room to find it not cleaned. The room they transferred us to had sticky drink rings on the table & top of the fridge. There was a beer bottle top on the carpet. We had 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels. We had to contact the front desk twice to finally get more towels, and we received 3 scratchy pool towels. There was no butter available at the breakfast, one of the employees had misplaced the key to the locked refrigerator where the butter was kept. Overall, poorly maintained and poor service.
The pool was out of order but I had called them prior to booking to make sure they had an indoor pool and a decent continental breakfast and they told me all about how great their pool was but failed to mention it's closed until further notice. What was I supposed to tell my kids? So I just went somewhere else that didn't miss inform me and we had a wonderful time at the Marriott.
Price was cheap There in side pool was closed
The location is ideal for access to BYU campus, shopping, the Provo recreation center and Provo downtown (also for access to hiking/skiing in Provo canyon). Low prices through Kayak/Priceline Our window was frozen open when we arrived (and temps outside about 11 degrees). We finally got it closed. In my room there was no thermostat, only a wall heater unit. You would turn it on to "Low" or "High" heat, but it would never self-regulate, so you'd have to get up during the night to turn it off when things got too warm, or to turn it on again as it got too cold. My adult sons were in a room with a thermostat (that worked out better). Breakfast was OK, but the fruit juice ran out and there should have been a better selection of cereals and fresh bagels. Our hall on the second floor had an employee break room and sometimes the whole hall smelled really strongly of fish or burned food.
the location is ideal for parents visiting their students at BYU. the service to my room was non-existent.
Mid-century design, very friendly and helpful staff
The breakfast was awesome! I've never had such a variety of foods to choose from at a hotel before. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room we got had a king sized bed in it and I thought that our room would be bigger because of that but it was quite compact. the smallest hotel room I've ever been in.
It was clean and had a great location. I would hope to have a free hot breakfast with the price but that did not happen. The front desk was not too sure about the 3rd party payment and I was double billed at first but that was all workded out with a 30 minute phone call.
We booked this hotel to swim with our family. After we checked in and paid the front desk informed us the pool was closed. That was the whole reason for booking our trip. Highly disappointing.
Excellent Staff...very helpful! Room clean up was spotty. We kept having to make requests such as trash not emptied, cleaning equipment left in the room, glasses and cups not cleared and replaced.
The rooms were nice and big. No complaints there! I hated that they didn't offer free breakfast. That should come with every Hotel stay!
Bed was just ok, pillows just ok. Overall kinda mediocre The noise was horrible, kids running every where, it was like thunder from above, could get any sleep.
breakfast was hot and good staff was very nice and caring
I loved how clean our room and facilities were and friendly workers was awesome!
polite staff, easy reservation, pet friendly, clean and updated
It's my favorite hotel for the money.
I was able to capture an adequate breakfast with coffee each morning, had access to daily walks along the Provo River, and the Inn is located centrally enough to be anywhere in the Provo/Orem area within 15-30 minutes. The experience was greatly very good. The room I was in did show some minor signs of wear (bathroom door did not fully close as it is misaligned and some minor wall wear/tear in the bathroom as well, but otherwise the place was in good/fair condition)
The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a good sized fridge and comfortable beds. There was a nice walking path right out the back as well. Distance from freeway through horrible in town traffic and construction. Without traffic or construction it wouldn't be very nice.
Comfortable bed, right on the Provo River Bathroom floor was dirty
The location is really nice and the breakfast was very good and the room's are nice to we always enjoy staying here!!!!

We loved the location. We spent time in Provo Canyon, so nearby, walked along the path just outside the hotel, and were able to walk to dinner and a movie while we were there as well. The walls and doors are pretty thin, you can hear entire conversations from the hallway, and the neighbors' water when showering was pretty loud.

Clean, quiet and close to food. Very hard to find in the dark. I called twice for directions but still couldn't find the place. Had to stop some locals and ask. It got very late and tired. The motel sign said Baymont Inn & Suites in small letters and something else in big letters.
The breakfast was good, and that was about the only good part of my stay. The poor girl at the front desk seemed completely clueless as to how things worked. They messed up my reservation and lost my booking, then took an hour to finally give me a room which was dirty. Had to ask to switch rooms. I expected more from a Marriot Managed location.
Housekeeping was fantastic, everyone was very friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean and easy to find. I liked the pool area but would have liked a place to sit/ lay outside. I also would have preferred to have a safe in the room instead of the front desk, but that's just a personal preference.
Newer room decor. Basic pull out couch. Nice layout for room. Two TV in room. Several hot and cold breakfast options. Indoor pool and hot tub. Staff friendly. Place still has old hotel smell. Stairwells still seem old.
Our children and grandchildren came to our home from out of town for a party. It could was so nice to have rooms for each of the families to stay after the festivities were over. And only 1 block from our home. One of the bathrooms was dirty and didn't have clean linens.
There wasn't one single thing that I liked After driving 6hrs through the night with a group of High School athletes, I arrived to a locked office door. After ringing the service bell 4 times with no success. I called them;*actual conversation* ECONO LODGE EMPLOYEE: Thank you for choosing econo lodge. How may I help you? ME: Hi: My name is Bryn D-----, I have 3 rooms reserved for the evening.Im standing ou....*cutoff ECONO LODGE EMPLOYEE: NOT NO MOE YA DONT.. leaving me to find a hotel at 1am
It was my first night for my honeymoon. Everything else was meh. The lady at the front desk was very rude though. Won't stay here again.
