Ventajas: Hisbiscus is like a hidden. gem. You wouldnt notice it from the road but one you enter through reception you are transformed into a boho vibe. The gardens are stunning, so much detail and look gorgeous when lit up at night too. The pool area is small but to a high standard. the rooms are spacious with a nice strong shower and have lots of lovely touches, like table chairs and hammock outside your door. The food is done to a high standard and the staff are so friendly. Total luxury. highly reccomend..

Ventajas: The whole environment of this garden area, along with its pool, is fantastic to chill out for a few days. The food is really good and home-made, we recommend the kinilaw and the seafood curry with rice. The WiFi signal was very good -thumbs up for this.

Ventajas: El Hostel está cerca del aeropuerto, 5 minutos en triciclo. Las habitaciones son básicas pero limpias y cómodas. El baño es amplio y estaba limpio. La cama cómoda. Además la señora que lo lleva prepara una comida estupenda por muy buen precio. Nos gestionaron ellos el triciclo al aeropuerto por la mañana a buen precio.
Desventajas: No hay agua caliente.

Ventajas: Lo que más nos gustó del sitio fue la atención y la amabilidad de kristel, la propietaria. La ubicación está genial si lo usas para conectar con el aeropuerto, es una zona muy tranquila. Kristel te facilita la conexión de tu viaje tanto si vas al aeropuerto como si vas en van a cualquier parte de Palawan, por módicos precios.
Desventajas: Un poco sucio.

Ventajas: I really appreciate how Ate Marie would go extra mile (effort) to make sure all her guests are meeting their need. also, I love her signature adobo (first time to taste that kind of adobo). lastly, it's really nice to know that the place is fully secured with CCTVs.

Ventajas: The staff was nice especially Matt! Great food at the place, the owner cooked very good food and fast. You could walk to the mall took about 30min. Same to the market. Room was clean!
Desventajas: It was very uncomfortable with all the cameras everywhere... and I think the owner was just lazy and spoke a lot about money.

Ventajas: Close to airport and the hosts organsie a very cheap taxi for you (100php) at whatever time you need. Best adobo we tasted and apparently the recipe has been tasted by Gordon Ramsey! Super friendly staff and room was spotlessly clean.

Ventajas: Lo que más nos gusto fue el trato del personal, te hacen sentir en familia Jonh es un tipo único, alegre y muy inteligente, la comida es excelente y muy sabrosa, el lugar alejado de todo con su playa privada y el tour que organiza Jonh es de lo mejor que hicimos en todo el viaje sin duda volvería hospedarme ahí
Desventajas: Nos gusto todo, podrían mejor un poco en el mantenimiento de los bungalows y en hacer algo con los gallos que cantan desde la madrugada fuera de eso todo es genial

Ventajas: The staff are pleasant and very friendly. The spa rates are very reasonable and the massages were excellent and staff there quite professional. The pool was clean and the sun loungers comfortable. The room was divine! Very comfortable and clean. I loved the shower too. Minibar is really nice (maybe add some snacks to it and restock drinks daily!) The Xmas Eve food was amazing, especially the roasted beef.
Desventajas: The service was generally terrible! Don't get me wrong, the staff were lovely. But the drinks would take ages to arrive and we'd have to often go up and remind the staff that we had ordered and it is yet to arrive. On Xmas Eve, we ordered a bottle of wine three times and it failed to arrive with us until we had finished our entire buffet meal. Very disappointing. We ordered caesar salads which arrived without and caesar dressing (lettuce with croutons and parmesan). Had to then wait ten minutes for a dressing to arrive. For a high-class hotel, the food and beverage service requires a lot of improvement. We decided to deduct all service charges off our final bill as it was terrible throughout our three night stay. The pool needs some maintainence (tiles missing etc). The breakfast was quite limited in western options. The cereal was pretty stale too.

Ventajas: Modern, clean and rooms were spacious, our family room was effectively 2 adjoining rooms. Staff were friendly, efficient pick up from airport (free). Loved the rooftop pool, buffet food was good and great value and fire dancer entertainment was brilliant. Would totally recommend.
Desventajas: Only very minor but I wanted to book in trip in advance and they wanted me to send a copy of my credit card which I wasn’t happy to do , they need a secure payment method so I booked elsewhere. They also took a deposit on my card which they won’t return until 3 weeks later which seems unnecessary. Most hotels just take the cc details and only put through if needed.

Ventajas: Very good. I would also like to note the thoughtful architecture of the hotel. All things in the room are in their places. Air conditioning does not blow on the bed, in the bathroom a special niche in the wall is used as a pole for shampoos. Superb breakfasts.
Desventajas: The only minor nuance noticed - the bathroom door slams loudly when closing.

Ventajas: The bed is quite big and comfortable, amenities were as expected, staff was nice and friendly, very close to the airport if you need to catch a flight. What was not expected was the food at the night restaurant outside, the food was amazing, we were expecting some normal standard hotel food but we were just blown away.
Desventajas: Airco during breakfast was quite high so the food would get cold really fast.

Ventajas: la piscina está super bien y casi siempre vacía, ya que el hotel tiene solo 8 habitaciones. las trabajadoras son muy majas y agradables, nos dejaron hacer el check in una hora antes, ya que llegamos muertos. el restaurante es un poco caro, pero los platos son gigantes, sobre todo el arroz (que está muy bueno) y la hamburguesa (tamaño XXL PREMIUM de tres pisos y patatas). el desayuno muy rico, incluso el café con leche. hay una cabañita para fumadores en la piscina. se encuentra a 15mins andando de un centro comercial donde también se puede comer. hicimos la excursión al río subterráneo contratado por ellos por 1800PHP y te vienen a buscar al hotel. en resumen, una maravilla.
Desventajas: había hormigas en la habitación pero en todos los hoteles de Palawan pasa ésto. hay agua embotellada en la habitación pero hay que pagarla. agua fría en la ducha.

Ventajas: La habitación estaba limpia, tenía una nevera, Tv, buena conexión Wifi.
Desventajas: En todas partes del alojamiento habían carteles con advertencias. Todo estaba prohibido. No fumar, no hacer ruido, no tocar, etc.. Con una hoja en la habitación sería más que suficiente. Esto nos hizo sentir incómodos, en vez de bienvenidos.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones, son estupendas. Todo muy limpio, habitaciones amplias, con nevera y ketle. El personal amable y atento. Nos aconsejaron a donde ir y a donde no ir. La piscina estupenda con mucho espacio para trabajar y disfrutar. El bar restaurantes su comida puede parecer que tenga precio elevado pero la cantidad y calidad lo merece :) Fuimos por 2 dias y nos quedamos 5. Ideal para desconectar, descansar y trabajar. ¡Volveremos!
Desventajas: Está alejado del centro pero nosotros alquilamos moto y en cuestión de 10 minutos estabas en al zona de restaurantes.

Ventajas: It was okay, and the owner did send someone to pick us up from the airport, and we arranged for her to drop us off at the airport. She also helped us with getting two sightseeing trips.
Desventajas: The property was not centrally located. This property advertised itself as an Air BNB, but didn’t allow you to bring in food to prepare or even to wash your underwear or bathing suit in the room. The staff insisted that we pay for the room upon check in, and only accepted cash. The staff did allow us to pay the next day as we needed to get cash from the ATM teller.

Ventajas: Really pretty garden are with lots of plants and trees make this really seem like you are in the middle of the country, not in the city. Quite off the beaten track and was further away from Robinsons mall than I thought from the map (about 8-10min drive) but clean, comfortable and large rooms. Good choice for breakfast and friendly service.
Desventajas: If you want to be walking distance to the mall then this may not be the place for you but if you’re happy to take tricycles down dark lanes it’s a lovely place!

Ventajas: The garden is beautiful, the whole place has been built with great care and love, it's really relaxing and designed very well. Spacious rooms, excellent shower and toilet. They have a covered pool which is rare, and very refreshing. Table tennis, pool, boule and badminton. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Lots of really nice artwork decorate the walls throughout. It really is a lovely place to stay. They serve nice food as well.
Desventajas: Not their fault but sometimes got a bit smokey with local bonfires.

Ventajas: El personal del hostal muy amable! Al llegar nos faltaban 50 PHP para pagar al conductor que nos llevó (ya que este no tenía cambio) y el personal nos los dejó sin problema y se lo devolvimos en el check out. Nos alojamos en este hostal ya que sólo teníamos que pasar una noche y al día siguiente teníamos que coger un vuelo, el chico del hostal nos llevó gratis al aeropuerto a la hora que le dijimos. El desayuno entraba con el precio y estaba bastante bien.
Desventajas: El aire acondicionado hacía mucho ruido y si lo apagabas se escuchaba ruido de los aparatos de fuera. A pesar de eso, sólo me molestó los primeros minutos, dormí del tirón.

Hotel is quite so if you like really quite time in Sabang and feel as village that is for you or young couple who wants just do nothing. Hotel is really expensive.. for this price you won't get even water for free.. spa is priced as in London. Pizza and any lunch dinner for two is araund 30£ without drink! Staff doesn't speak properly English and pick up private car is 2500 pesos with hotel which is 2 hours drive. EL Nido is 6 hours and any private drives wants 4000 for 6 hours! Honestly we didn't like a hotel for us as young couple it was over priced restaurant, middle nowhere, and food wasn't delicious.. only poork dumplings and water spinach was delicious but forgot about icecream nice smoothies what ever no..

Ventajas: Location is great. It is close to the underground river and many other optional tours. It is on the beach. We loved the little village surrounding the resort. Rooms are clean, property is beautiful and the staff is friendly.
Desventajas: The breakfast options aren’t good. Some simple additions would go a long way. For example yogurt, more cold cereal varieties, bagels and a fish option would be nice.

If you are looking for local food, there is plenty of options at the buffet and menu. The banana turon is out of this world! Sea water is extremely clear. Very close to the underwater river.
Desventajas: morning breakfast does not meet a western taste. There should be more options for those who are not willing to taste asian food (this is also valid for lunch and dinner).

Desventajas: Muy sucio, maloliente, viejo, todo roto y oxidado. El personal desagradable (contrasta mucho comparado con el resto de alojamientos del país ya que en otros alojamientos el personal suele ser encantador) Nos entraron en la habiación sin previo aviso mientras nos estábamos bañando en el jacuzzi, y nos tuvimos que tapar rápidamente.. No me había pasado en la vida.. Y sin recibir ningún tipo de disculpa, intolerable! No da a la playa sino a un lodazal maloliente, criadero de mosquitos... Imaginaos (nada que ver con las fotos del anuncio). La comida de muy mala calidad, para nada lo esperado.. Mucho peor que en otros alojamientos. Y todo por el precio más caro que pagamos por alojarnos en Filipinas (750€ la noche) Obviamente no lo vale y no lo recomiendo!!!! Fecha: Diciembre 2019

Ventajas: The main area/entry was open, attractively, tropically decorated and inviting. They had two restaurants on site which was convenient because going to town took several minutes by tuk-tuk.
Desventajas: I spent three extra money to get an over-the-reef bungalow and was very disappointed in the up-keep of the facilities. Maybe they were really nice 10-15 years ago, but they haven’t been maintained and the coral reef was not blue or beautiful. In fact, it has a stench of root that was overpowering while walking to and from the main facilities. There was trash in the water as well.

Desventajas: La llegada al hotel el límite que tienes de recorrer las distancia a pie, el hotel ofrece transporte pero no es lo mismo como poder hacerlo a pie.

El personal fue el único que nos intentó estafar con los precios de todo nuestro viaje a Filipinas. En ningún momento han sido de ayuda, al revés. El restaurante del hotel es lamentable. El desayuno que sirven por la mañana (por el cual te cobran mientras que en la mayoría de los hoteles en Filipinas está incluido) es apestoso y una noche comimos dos burger y nos cobró mas que un restaurante normal donde por el mismo precio comes sin parar. En fin... para no volver y NO ACONSEJABLE

Desventajas: 1st It wasn't mentioned that our suite was not in the ground floor! They gave us a second floor and my mom is 60 years old! She had to climb the stairs! Everytime we go out and come back. 2nd the Air Condition in the sala wasn't working well its in 18 cool and high fan and it felt like 27 low fan! 3rd they had a tv but had no signal! 4th everytime we shower its like they have timer for their water! It stops every 5 minutes and get back after 3 minutes! And when we complained they did nothing!

Ventajas: El hotel esta bien ubicado, es un oasis, bastante confortable. Buena atención del personal. Las habitaciones son amplias y tienen aire acondicionado. El menu que ofrece el Beach Club esta bien. La piscina es perfecta, apenas se baña gente, y la mantienen limpia. A 5 min en tuc tuc del centro comercial Robinsson.
Desventajas: La playa de delante del hotel, no es bien bien una playa al uso, no puedes bañarte y la mayor parte del tiempo la marea esta baja, y apenas hay agua... Por la noche cortan el agua de 23;00 a 6:00h de la mañana. El agua de la ducha de la habitación no te deja regular la temperatura, saliendo siempre fría. El desayuno es muy básico y justo, nada del otro mundo, no nos agrado mucho, la verdad, echamos en falta algo de embutido, iogur o alguna pasta. No recomiendo coger ninguna excursión en el hotel, te cobran el doble, fuera puedes encontrar mejores precios, sin duda!

Desventajas: lleva cuatro años abierto, por lo que nos comentaron las personas del Staff. Pese a que es moderno, no se han tomado todas las molestias para que sea moderno. Tiene síntomas de desgaste, como el mobiliario de la piscina, la propia piscina con la madera cerca de que en breve tendría problemas y los azulejos de la misma, que se han caído la mayoría. en la habitación estaba todo muy limpio pero hay grandes grietas en las paredes y los ajustes de los muebles. Solo con cuidado de mantenimiento el hotel sería fantástcico, pero aun no lo es.

Desventajas: Our initial room did not look good at all, lots of huge scratches on the walls and everything looked really used, we got another room without any complications, which was much better. But the room looked still a big run down. I missed a beside table on my side of bed, which was a bit annoying.

Ventajas: Hisbiscus is like a hidden. gem. You wouldnt notice it from the road but one you enter through reception you are transformed into a boho vibe. The gardens are stunning, so much detail and look gorgeous when lit up at night too. The pool area is small but to a high standard. the rooms are spacious with a nice strong shower and have lots of lovely touches, like table chairs and hammock outside your door. The food is done to a high standard and the staff are so friendly. Total luxury. highly reccomend..

Ventajas: la piscina está super bien y casi siempre vacía, ya que el hotel tiene solo 8 habitaciones. las trabajadoras son muy majas y agradables, nos dejaron hacer el check in una hora antes, ya que llegamos muertos. el restaurante es un poco caro, pero los platos son gigantes, sobre todo el arroz (que está muy bueno) y la hamburguesa (tamaño XXL PREMIUM de tres pisos y patatas). el desayuno muy rico, incluso el café con leche. hay una cabañita para fumadores en la piscina. se encuentra a 15mins andando de un centro comercial donde también se puede comer. hicimos la excursión al río subterráneo contratado por ellos por 1800PHP y te vienen a buscar al hotel. en resumen, una maravilla.
Desventajas: había hormigas en la habitación pero en todos los hoteles de Palawan pasa ésto. hay agua embotellada en la habitación pero hay que pagarla. agua fría en la ducha.

Desventajas: En todas partes del alojamiento habían carteles con advertencias. Todo estaba prohibido. No fumar, no hacer ruido, no tocar, etc.. Con una hoja en la habitación sería más que suficiente. Esto nos hizo sentir incómodos, en vez de bienvenidos.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones, son estupendas. Todo muy limpio, habitaciones amplias, con nevera y ketle. El personal amable y atento. Nos aconsejaron a donde ir y a donde no ir. La piscina estupenda con mucho espacio para trabajar y disfrutar. El bar restaurantes su comida puede parecer que tenga precio elevado pero la cantidad y calidad lo merece :) Fuimos por 2 dias y nos quedamos 5. Ideal para desconectar, descansar y trabajar. ¡Volveremos!

Ventajas: It was okay, and the owner did send someone to pick us up from the airport, and we arranged for her to drop us off at the airport. She also helped us with getting two sightseeing trips.
Desventajas: The property was not centrally located. This property advertised itself as an Air BNB, but didn’t allow you to bring in food to prepare or even to wash your underwear or bathing suit in the room. The staff insisted that we pay for the room upon check in, and only accepted cash. The staff did allow us to pay the next day as we needed to get cash from the ATM teller.
