We were very please with our stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin. It was our 20th anniversary and I wanted something special. Our room was a Studio in the Main building. We were close to everything, the restaurant, bar and lobby. The room was delightful with a lot of character. Kind of reminded me of a bed and breakfast in a hotel. From the moment we walked through the door, every staff member was kind, informative and attentive. We were treated like kings and queens. I was really impressed with the service. Every night, our bed was turned down, on each bedside stand was a bottle of water and a glass. Every day we had fresh apples and cookies left in our room. At first I felt the rooms were a little on the expensive side, but after my stay, with all the extras that were included, it was well worth it. The restaurant's breakfasts were exceptional. The Cream of Crab soup was the best I have ever had. I cannot think of one negative thing about this hotel. The hotel is also within walking dista...
The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. They allowed pets (for a fee) and now our dog is spoiled for life! The pub was romantic, and the view was great.
Being on the water and the view of the water The infinity pool The gorgeous Spa The excellent restaurant The fact that the place had character and was older yet impeccably maintained The room had a stifling little outdoor patio--would have been better to scrap it and the privacy fence and just have it be open space with bushes and flowers
great place, first time there but definetely not the last.Food was great and the service just as good, the rooms are perfectly decorated
I would not recommend this hotel. Simply, it is not worth the money. This is supposedly a luxury hotel. The common areas, indeed, are lovely. The rooms are not lovely, however, and the bathroom attached to our room was claustrophobic. The service at the front desk upon check-in and check-out was fine, but, other than that, the service was mediocre to poor; and, surprisingly, no one at the hotel seemed to know anything about the area except for the little town of St. Michaels.
Sheer understated luxury no
Clean, comfortable room, convenient location. Breakfast was disappointing.
The staff was accommodating and the facilities were very relaxing. The location was perfect and bikes were offered to guests. There was only one glitch...no small refrigerator in the room. You must ask for a certain type of room, King room, I believe. But that was never a deal breaker.
View was wonderful. Parking too tight. Old room. Old bathroom. Second night, several fire alarms. Went out side with two other couples Others remained in the bar. Was not approached by any staff. was not told what the problem was. Was not told it was OK to go Bach to room called the desk when the alarms we t off again. Asked the front desk if we needed to evaluate again. Was told no and then hung up on. Very un professional. Not a well run ship at all. Sub part for 500 a day. Very sub par.
Enough said My stay was to short!
The location of the resort is right on the water and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was nothing that was too difficult or out of the ordinary. Clay, who runs the restaurant and bar, is wonderful. While the rooms are a bit dated, it is clear that improvements are being made. Regardless, it is a perfect place to stay if you are visiting St. Michaels and the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
It was clean. On the water. But if you don't golf, I wouldn't recommend it. The restaurant was completely reserved for a birthday party. The other option was the country club with medicre food. Over priced for one night stay. Terrible food in the country clubhouse: freezer style burgers and poor wine.
Reservation was for two double beds. (Couple plus adult daughter). Entered room and there was a queen. Ended up with a cot for daughter - not ideal, but were told no other rooms available. Parking lot had less than a dozen cars. Furniture was covered with grout dust from recent bathroom remodel. Attendant offered to clean it, but as it was very late, and we were tired, we opted to ignore it. Adequate for an overnight stay, - would not recommend for longer time.
Set back from the main highway, but right next to an excellent seafood resturant. Nothing, it was very nice - NOTE it is no longer a Best Western, but the standards are the same!
Cute room decor. Clean, quiet and well managed. Bill included breakfast and it was hearty-included hot food. Just a 1.6 miles from downtown St. Michaels.Would go back.
Good room rate and close proximity to the main strip of St. Michael's shops and restaurants. The room didn't have great ventilation (the air felt damp) and the décor was dated.
