the location was decent we arrived around midnight, we reserved a room online with 2 queen beds. Our room was over $200. When we arrived and went to check in the woman at the front desk informed us that they did not have any rooms with 2 queen beds. Her words "we haven't had any rooms like that since i started at 10:00". She had a really negative attitude We said ok, what do we do now, she wasn't really helpful. she gave us a room with 1 king and a pull out bed which was not comfortable at all. i don't understand how we can reserve and book something and then arrive and it is not available. Not a good experience at all. our whole stay we had been staying at mostly Hampton Inns and were extremely pleased with everyone one of them. this not we didnt have that option so we figured Sheraton is a big name, we figured it would be amazing also. we were wrong. definitely going to stick with Hampton Inn from now on.
The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, loved the pillows. We hate breakfast in the restaurant, food was very good and the waitress was very polite and kept checking on us to make sure all was ok with us. Loved the fact it is connected to the Denny Sanford Center so we could walk back to our hotel after our concert. I would recommend the Sheraton to my family and friends.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable than any hotel we've ever stayed at. It was also quiet. We didn't hear any doors slamming from other rooms or people talking in the hallways. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family who plan on staying in Sioux Falls!
