La ubicación del hotel era perfecta. Un paso de casi todo desde el centro scottrade, Busch Stadium, escenas, arco, etc. El personal era maravilloso y muy servicial, especialmente el conserje y hombres garaje. Queríamos quedarnos una noche más y la habitación no estaba disponible, pero no teníamos reserva previa. Había otros eventos en la zona. Esto no es culpa del hotel nos encantó tanto que queríamos alojarnos de nuevo.

Habitación 1230 tiene una maravillosa vista del Estadio Busch. Las almohadas eran terribles. El personal tenía problemas con nuestra reserva. Tenían una anotación en el ordenador a cargo de la habitación para una Amex. No tenemos una Amex. La habitación era demasiado cara.
Gran vista del estadio! El desayuno buffet era deliciosa! Ascensores East Tower tenía larga espera.
El personal de hote era agradable. Estándar. Pensé que estaba registrando en el Four Seasons -jajaja mi error Moqueta sucia, gente extraña de casino. Necesita una reforma.
Es una estupenda ubicación para la cúpula donde fuimos a ver fútbol, el mejor lugar para alojarse, el estadio de st louis no estaba ni ni siquiera a una manzana. Debes pagar para hacer llamadas telefónicas locales y no me dijeron hasta la hora de salida.
Será bonito cuando lo renueven. Tenían una tasa oculta de $10. Me podría haber quedado en el medio del centro por el mismo precio en una habitación de la misma calidad o mejor.

Fue un lugar de descanso para mí y para mi madre, que es anciana. A ella le encantó. Había un ruido, un zumbido, como de algo mecánico, que veía desde fuera de la habitación. No era demasiado molesto, pero se podía oír. No sé si era el hotel en sí, o el ruido venía de la calle. Estábamos en la última planta.
The actual hotel room is great! The staff did a poor job of providing customer service. The room card didn't work no one explained that you had to go to the 8th floor then get off and find another set of elevators to get to your room. It was loud The casino makes everything smell like smoke and whatever they use to try and mask the smoke.
Hotel looks like it was placed in the middle of a 3rd world country. The hotel was beautiful, and staff were excellent. The restaurant serves one of the best breakfasts. Terrible mouse in the room the entire time. The soundproofing from the outside is non-existing. Heard the wind howling and the traffic 24rs. a day.

The Cheshire is a quirky British castle and authors based 'Lodge". Each room is named for an author and has a copy of one of the writer's works with a bio bookmark for each guest. (I have, over the years, enjoyed Auden & Isherwood, and now Laurence Sterne.) The windows on each floor and in each room are leaded pale colored diamonds. The reception area boasts heavy wooden furniture, a bear, and "Oriental" rugs over tile. The front desk and bar staff are superb! Nice pleasant people. The pool area is inviting even in non-swim weather, with standing heaters and a firepit. Too much fun, and reasonably quiet for a full hotel. Guest with relatives in lounge area espousing ethnic and religious prejudices (?!) loud enough for others, including me, at separate tables to show surprise. Not a common experience at The Lodge!
Noisy AC which had to be reset to work dirty shower walls, musty smell. Modest breakfast, but fresh and delicious. Accommodating staff and unparalleled decor. Overall, too expensive.
We loved getting to stay somewhere that was pretty much rich in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and see, but avoid the mass traffic of the city. This was our second time to St. Louis together and we definitely can't wait to make it back out to The Cheshire. It was everything we were looking for in a hotel. Plus the continental breakfast may have been small, but the quality made up for the quantity by far.

Stayed in 'luxury' category room. Very nice. Good vibe. Staff seems proud of the operation. Very friendly, very attentive. Would stay here again when we're in the St. Louis area. Free (all be it slower) Wi-Fi in all rooms. Good enough to read email, news articles, etc.. If you want to stream stuff that will cost you $10 a day. Small issue but the hot water coming out of shower needed to be a bit more 'hot'. Never did quite warm up to my personal like for water temp.
Luxurious hotel Floor around stool had urine on the floor room from previous guests. We found this after a nice night in the casino, so less than impressed.
Amazing hotel, very luxurious rooms. Very clean casino, and nice staff. The food in the casino (the burger one), was not the best and not worth the money. They didn't get my order right, but they were nice when asked to fix it.
The showers were amazing. The pillows are too soft. Definitely will bring my own next time.
Room was very nice. Staff was excellent as well. There was not much around the area to do but this is a casino after all. The casino was very tight and smoky. A bit pricey for what you get.
Convenient to Blues hockey. Shuttle available or walkable if you don't mind eight or ten blocks. Nice rooms, hot breakfast and pet friendly with some reasonable rules. Close to nice dining and pubs. Bed was a little firm for me but I admit I like them softer than most folks do.
Pool was small, crowded and a little dirty - we didn't get to use it. Otherwise the location and staff were great!!
the Manager in the lobby area talking with the guests was a comforting touch. he was making sure the stay was good and asking about our trip, why when etc... N/A. the only thing i did not care for was our room was next to the elevator sooo first thing in the morning you could hear it for some time, other than that facility was very good.

...most of the time. First room was worn/soiled and the bathroom had an 'under construction' look where a large piece of artwork was missing. Desk staff took quite awhile finding a replacement room for 2nd and 3rd nights, but that room was more to my liking. A big gripe is lack of counter space in the bathroom and awful bathroom lighting. Manager and breakfast servers were friendly and efficient.
Overall a good stay. No big complaints, except maybe the distance from any attractions.
Value for the money was good. They needed more staff working the continental breakfast to keep up.
Arrived Friday and they gave us our room early at no extra charge. The front desk staff was above and beyond amazing! Room was clean and we had upgraded to the arch view. They were "under construction " for remodeling on 2 of the floors but we never heard anything or saw anything. The ladies running the breakfast were outstanding and so sweet and energetic. It was all clean and very fresh food. Hope we make a point to go to st Louis again and will definitely stay there and recommend it to everyone. Thanks for having us! Pool was a bit cloudy but there was a bunch of kids in there before us.
Absolutely every staff person was polite, friendly and always seemed truly happy. I made a point to tell the front desk person along with other staff that I happened to interact with. Our bed seemed to send both of us to the middle of the bed.
The staff was great, and extremely friendly. Children loved the complementary hot chocolate. I would stay here again. For a family, the room could use more drawer space. We did not use the pool or spa, because it did not appear very clean, and had a very strong chlorine smell.
I definitely liked the customer service rep named Andrew. When we arrived I told him that we were on our anniversary and he made a point to go and get us a bottle of Champagne. I will be definitely staying here when I visit St. Louis again!! Beds!!!! Very Uncomfortable but the customer service, hands down made up for it!!
The warmth and friendliness of the staff. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. This experience exceeded my expectations.
The location was superb for being near the arch. The staff was excellent and changed my room for the second night to the top so I could see the arch, it was awesome! Room 500 "with an arch view". It was the back wall of the pool building!

Rooms were clean. Location was in a great spot downtown, Parking is not free. Even though they advertised online as free parking, it isn't. Staff wasn't equipped to handle problems, we watched a man ahead of us not find his room ready for him and the single person working wasn't able to help him. We were told we couldn't park there even though Kayak listed the hotel as "free parking". Upon check in, the sole person at the desk told us we couldn't park at the hotel and needed to park somewhere else. We went for dinner, returned and found 3 empty spaces. We parked in one. The following morning we had a note on the car letting us know our license plate had been recorded and to not park there again. Not to worry. We won't be using this hotel again. It's too bad, it's in a great location.

Building was beautiful, and was within walking distance of many nice restaurants and to the Peabody opera House (Avett Brothers). Be prepared for paying $26 for valet or feeding the meter on off street parking. Room was very small, beware they will charge you $10 for using their WIFI, bed was horribly uncomfortable, pillows were just as bad, and there was no hot water in our room. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you have to stay here bring a good mattress pad and your own pillows and be prepared to take a cold shower.
