Shuttle service to Disney land. Room spacious and very good cleanliness. We booked four rooms (2 families) 4-5 months prior our arrival. The room arrangement given to us 2 rooms next to each other and the other 2 in different floor level. They aware each family going to occupy 2 rooms during our booking and yet they can't arrange the other 2 rooms next to each other or at least the same floor. Eventually the other family has to take the smoking rooms in order to stay next to each other. No smiling face from the male front desk staff.
Great rooms, with nice views. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Train station at the front door to the hotel. Big shopping centres next door. Far from the main areas of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya etc) roughley a 30 min train ride. There is a train station at the front door to the hotel which is very conveniant but this is not a JR station so if you have the JR pass you can not use it here.
spacious...... the housekeeping did not clean up the room well..... the many thing just like candy wrapper were still in the carpet.....
The view from the bar/restaurant on the top floor was outstanding! I thought the hotel was closer to Haneda Airport than it turned out to be.
Convenient location, quiet and modern room. Free in-room lan connection. Very friendly, helpful staff. Iron only available in laundry room (so you have to bring your clothes there - no place to hang them while you iron several shirts...). I find that the room is expensive compared to the Park Hotel next door (which is more modern and larger rooms...).
We found the staff extemely helpful especially the guest relations desk went out of their way to be of assistance. The rooms where very comfortable. I was going to move to a cheaper hotel, but the manager organised me a fabulous rate for the extra days, so I didn't move. No
Staff was very helpful. Easy access to a lot of places walking, taxi, or train (close to shinbashi and Shiodome station). Breakfast was 25 dollars per person and did not include much. No good breakfast around. Very surprised that English proficiency of staff was not that good.
The JR Suite was amazing. Love the high floors and view of Tokyo Tower. Customer Service at the front desk was excellent. After we paid for the upgraded suite we were a lot happier. Initial room was very small and they put us on the floor with the business and fitness area so people were in and out on that floor. Room was very very small where our 2 luggage would not fit. My GF kept on bumping her elbows into the shower door and the sink as there was no space in between for her to do her hair and make up. We had to upgrade to the JR. Suite at a very high price. The JR. Suite was an excellent room. We didn't need the living room area but it was a nice adder. What we were expecting was a bedroom similar to the JR suite bedroom but never got it on the regular booking. Concierge needs to look into what he's doing more. We asked about the Robot Restaurant and see about making reservations for that Saturday Night. He booked the reservations but didn't realize that payment up front is required. When we go to the place we were turned away as it was full and everyone had paid in full prior to arrival. When I tried to explain to him I don't think he spoke English well enough to understand. I was not mad at him as we understand we are in another country with a language barrier.
Housekeeping was good Kept clean Staff were mostly helpful Quiet Near Shimbashi and Shiodome Stations Amenities were good Airport Limousine to Narita At check-in we were told we needed to pay for a separate room as my mother and my sister together with me are considered too old to fit in one room with two double beds. They said a larger room would be available that could accommodate the three of us together the next day but we would have to pay an additional 330 USD per night of stay! Our flight landed 11 pm at Haneda by the time we got to the hotel it was already almost 12:30 am, we were exhausted! Renting an additional room also costed the same amount $330. That's the option we went with for at least a day. We then booked a second room online for the subsequent 5 days for only half the price they asked us for upfront. It made little sense from a business perspective if they had let us upgrade to a one bedroom that would release them of two smaller rooms that they can charge more for. Internet is slow especially at night, can barely read the news. Air conditioning was weak in one of our rooms, I was sweating a lot.
No
Ubicación y vistas excelentes. Habitaciones amplias y limpias.
Big room, good placed, view beautiful, room details. big hotel one part of the hotel have offices.
No.
Positioned near the business district, but the general area - including the Imperial Palace - are very nice. Well equipped and very modern rooms. The bathroom was enormous with entertaining shower equipment! Public areas are huge and drab in places. But we would certainly return to the Imperial.
This hotel was AWESOME! The service we received can't be spoken about enough. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay in Tokyo was problem free. The location is in a prime spot and our room had a great view. Highly recommended!
Great Hotel and great localization. The room was perfect.
not only was the imperial hotel a quietly luxurious place to stay with wonderful service, staying there felt like being part of history. i believe that the original hotel was designed by frank lloyd wright and though the original is no longer standing, pieces from the destroyed hotel have been incorporated into the current lobby. it seems that an effort has been made to retain the frank lloyd wright feeling in the remake of the building. overall, a very nice experience.
I have stayed at hotels all over the world butt he Imperial was fantastic. I have never seen such a polite and professional staff. Everything from the moment I got out of the taxi to the moment I boarded the Narita bus was handled with the utmost proficiency and friendliness. Although there are hotels that are more modern and flashier, nothing beats the Imperial. Great location as well.
I was only in Tokyo for two days. I have always wanted to see the City so I stayed as a long lay-over. I have traveled quite a bit and mostly stay at high end hotels. The room was amazing. It was large, clean and the bed was perfect. I think the one thing that stood out was the service. I mostly felt with the front desk manager Tetsuro Nakamura. Everyone at the hotel seemed to really appreciate their job and enjoy helping their guests. Nothing comes to mind
Location, service, pool staff
Extremely polite and helpful staff. Quiet location, very close to Tokyo Metro station. Wifi was expensive and had to be renewed every 24hrs.
the huge comfortable bedrooms, and the excellent staff.
it is strategically located, and its value for money is an added value. i enjoy the luxuriness of the hotel and its facilities.the staff is very helpful and courteous
the location is good, very clean hotel the shuttle bus services is very helpful No comlpains
Second time to stay there. First time was given a free upgrade (to an Executive Room) as there were no single rooms available. This time no upgrade but the room was almost as good. The most spacious rooms I've had in my trips in Japan. Good views, good for business district and short walk to main station/shops. The area is a bit of a quieter and a bit of a breather from the crowds/bright lights of the area around the main station. The bathroom could do with being refitted to be more modern and contemporary.
The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a posh and luxurious hotel lobby. There's no doubt about it, the hotel is beautiful. The room is even more so. It is spacious, has very modern furnishing and a very unique window that is able to transform itself to look like a Japanese sliding door. The hotel shuttle to Shinjuku Station is most useful. It would be great if the hotel shuttle operates abit longer. It stops at about 9.50pm. Guests that spend late nights out would benefit if the shuttle could extend its operation hours till midnight. It would also be great if the hotel has transportation arrangemen for Tokyo Disney Resort like some Shinjuku hotels that I know.
huge 'n not cosy
i like the friendly and helpful staff staff. however on the nite of 30th we came back very late and accidentally left our two strollers outside the room. when we checked the next morning the staff at the concierge was not so pleased with our explanation and sort of sternly reminding us not to repeat the same event again. but overall it was a pleasurable experience there.
Is there a star rating higher than five!? From the moment I arrived to check in after getting off of a cruise ship in Yokohama to the moment I checked out and said goodbye to the lovely staff in the lobby, I enjoyed every second of this incredible property. The views were luxurious, the rooms were definitely appointed, the club lounge and everything and anything I can need and more, and I will be racing back to Tokyo to stay here as soon as possible. I sale every luxury cruise line all over the world and this is by far the most hospitable luxurious stay I've ever experienced in my life anywhere in the world. There's absolutely nothing I would change, it was sublime! And that's coming from a New Yorker who stayed in some of the best hotels in some of the best cities across the globe and in some of the most luxury suites on the most luxurious ships on the ocean.
This hotel is located in the tallest building in Tokyo and it offers incredible views of the city! The rooms are breathtaking and I have never experienced such incredible, all encompassing service. The concierge offered us the best sightseeing advice and we had one of the most memorable dinners in their Japanese Michelin Starred Restaurant. Oh and there's a fantastic 24hr Grocery Store located in the super posh MidTown Shopping Center adjacent to the hotel. I have to also say that compared to other Ritz-Carlton Hotels I have stayed at around the world... this is by far the best of their Hotels properties! What I didn't like was that we had to leave so soon...
i had booked a non-smoking suite. the room had clearly been smoked in - an air purifier was by the bed when i got to the room. not cool at all. the fact that there are still smoking rooms that can be 'changed' into non-smoking? plus, had an issue with business card request. hotel itself is beautiful but dealing with unexpected issues not very good-especially for the price.
The view from the room was beautiful, I loved the bathroom window which could be made seeing through, so you could enjoy the view from the shower. No complaint, very satisfied.
The location not far from Ginza and the metro station Shimbashi/Ginza is useful. There isn't a gym. And the Internet isn't a wifi but cable. I carry an iPhone which is useless without a wifi. Breakfast selection should be changed daily.
Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. None.
The views from our room were good, it was nice and clean. I thought for a hotel of this standard the staff would be able to understand English a bit more, not very well situated for shopping more of a business hotel. No english Tea,
The design is lovely and the location can't be beat. The hotel is high up and it is great to look down on Tokyo. The pillows were uncomfortable which took away a little bit of ease of sleep.
Great location very close to main shopping area in Ginza. Room on the small side.
Rooms. Service. Price is relatively high
The Palace Hotel is just that... a contemporary palace complete with impeccable finishes, art, and service. The staff could not do enough for us from carrying bags, to creating itineraries, to attending to our every need with prompt attention and happy disposition. So kind and generous and anxious to please. Food and drinks were first rate and the concierge club level lounge put it over the top with intimate lounge overlooking the city, outside lounge area with couches and city views, and beautiful and kind service managers who served food and drinks and made arrangements for us all with a warm smile. The rooms are clean contemporary yet warm and impeccable with every convenience at the touch of a button. There is art throughout the rooms and hotel that make you stop and take notice at every turn. If you are lucky enough to get a corner room as we were we enjoyed city views and over looked the Emperial Palace Gardens. The view from the bathroom and tub were breathtaking. The hotel is connected by a beautifully finished underground tunnel with shoppes and restaurants to the nearest train station. This is clearly one of the finest hotels in the world. even if you are not staying here it's worth the time to see. I travelled with my 25 year old son and although he enjoyed experiencing the best of the best, the location is a bit removed from the more active and younger areas to the west such as Shibuya, Roppongie, Harijuko and Shinjuku! if you're hanging in the high rent district you can't beat it, although I must say Harijuko has great shopping along pedestrian friendly streets! Am must see.
The Palace Hotel was top rate. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was spectacular! Good location away from the city noise and beautiful details at every turn. Very expensive dining but superb food. Definitely a 5-6 star hotel.
