Location, location, location. Once at the hotel, the car wasn't needed again. Coffee, Craft Beer and Calzones all within a 2 minute walk. New England charm in a vibrant college town. The workout facilities could use an upgrade and variety could be added to the equipment. The parking situation (Parking available on site for $20 per night or a block away for $5) is not ideal but is workable.
Location near places we wanted to tour. On major busy route and above on hill. Lovely trees. Had microwave and refrig. Owner was accommodating to change. Small room and small price. building looked recently painted. Had Wi-fi. Entrance was blocked by divided hwy from one direction. Needed to drive past and turn around to enter. No guide to TV stations. No hooks or places to hang clothes in bathroom. Would have used outside picnic table.
Inexpensive and convenient The freezer portion of the fridge didn't work. We didn't realize this until we packed to leave and items were melted. Also the electrical outlets on the desk weren't working properly.
Clean, comfortable beds. Able to park 3 feet from the room door! The bathtub/shower floor was DEADLY slippy! There were no hand-holds. I had to throw the washcloths in under my feet to keep from slipping to my death!
nothing. Poor mgt. very poor facilities. Turned water off to whole hotel at 2 pm on sat so we had to wait 2 hr for s shower and were late for a 5 pm graduation dinner . They were doing construction?? They planned this??
The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Absolutely no amenities. A 'window' air conditioner in the back of the closet. The room was so hot and dark. Very old bathroom, shower was not clean. A flat screen TV with a satellite box which required manual push buttons to change the channel.
It was clean and the price was very reasonable It only had 2 towels and 2 washclothes, and only 2 pillows on the bed.
