The location of the hotel was excellent The bathroom door in my room would not close
The staff and location You pay for what you get.
Location was the only thing ! The room sucked it was the size of a closet I was supposed to has a queen size bed only had a full queen probley wouldn't have fit it was so dam small
It was close to the beach and board walk. Rooms was extremely small. The walls were really thin. The remote didn't work.
You can't beat the location. Cleanliness could have been better, but unless you're willing to pay $---/night in Wildwood, your hotel is not going to be top notch. It was fine for what I needed.
Location was great big rooms pool was ok
Great proximity to the beach and boardwalk. This place has gone way downhill in the 10 years since I started staying there. The staff is less competent, the rooms are not as well kept, the plumbing is bad. I will not stay here again.
The price great, especially for Memorial Day weekend and staff was friendly. The room wasn't clean, we didn't walk barefoot because there was so much sand and debris on the floor. The area to catch the elevator smelled like urine.
Location, location, location. Plus the sixth floor view and breeze were awesome! The shower and towels weren't great, but I didn't go there for the towels.
Staff was friendly. Pool was small, but clean and warm and lovely, with plenty of toys and fun slide. Grateful for mini fridge and nicely stocked mini kitchen. Location was good, quiet. Near laundry and nice grocery store. Room could use updating. Stove top ancient, flat screen tv rather small. Bathroom tiny.
Our annual trip to the shore includes two related married couples, so we always try to find a place really close to the beach that has a room with two large beds. Last year we stayed at the Tropicana and thought it was okay–not well taken care of but the location was good. This year I took a shot booking a room at the Mango after reading mixed reviews–it appeared to me that the negative reviews were perhaps isolated incidents and need not be taken too seriously. One block farther away from the beach and $20 cheaper, Mango blew Tropicana out of the water! The distance made no difference because it is already on the road we take straight to the boardwalk–short walk away–and for $20 less we got a nicer room (wood flooring), better amenities (flat screen tv and better beds), cleaner facilities, super friendly manager, better parking (they have 2 lots), and perhaps a bit more family friendly, if you're looking for that. We were well pleased with our stay, and give bonus points for being allowed to stay in the side parking lot with our parking tag for the rest of the day we checked out without having to pay for parking anywhere! Super sweet! We booked the room through Kayak, and there were no problems–just showed ID and the card used, signed the receipt, and got the key. We didn't even have to formally check out when we wanted to leave and hit the beach–we just left the key in the mail slot. We'll likely stay here again for future trips to the shore! Water pressure in the shower was light and temperature fluctuated a bit, bit this isn't really a problem. We were there for the beach and salt water, not awesome showers; so, not a big deal.
It was an okay place for the weekend. The beds went that comfortable an don't use there towls. There all stained. They keep the cleaning supply an towls in a garidge. It was a good price that why we went there. Don't think I would want to be there when its crowded there. We only had a few rooms with people from what I could tell. Towls were gross an the beds were hard.
Nice pool, hot tube. We were on the second floor and had a good view. The room was cleaned and comfortable. We got a two bed and also had a table to eat and space for our luggage.
Awesome ice machine.
Privacy Needed clean wash cloth and towels and had to wait until morning to get them because there was no one to call .. The office was closed
I really liked the clean sheets and the two blocks to the boards was an easy walk. The motel is a bit older, but well kept. Could use some updating, but nothing is in terrible need of repair. What I didn't care for: Blackout curtains ONLY. Would have liked some other curtains to allow in sunlight without allowing EVERYONE to see inside the room.
Location to beach and boardwalk was good. Room was clean. Beds were pretty good. Room was not as pictured online. Online showed a little kitchen area, room did not have that. Tub had seen better days but shower worked well.
We really liked the location and the office staff were very nice, friendly and very accommodating. For just the two of us we had a great time and the room was nice for just a night away and it was within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk which was very nice not having to drive anywhere.
The location to the beach and boardwalk was great, and was still close to restaurants and things in town. We had a nice beach view even on the side of the building. Everything was clean. The staff was very nice. For the price, it met our purposes for a long weekend away. You had to wait a while for the toilet to refill to be able to flush again. The internet didn't work. The balcony was small, but wasn't a big deal.
The bed and breakfast was close to the beach. The breakfast at the bed and BREAKFAST was awful. Nothing but prepackaged donuts and heated up eggos.
The location to the boardwalk, beach , and restaurants can not be beat! Very clean, cozy, comphy, and quiet. The breakfasts were amazing, the owners very friendly and sweet people. Can't wait to go back.
Staff was nice. Room was clean but needs to be updated, especially for the price. Too expensive although I did book late. We were told we didn't need a car parking tag when in fact we did and got a notice that it would be towed. A lot of adult party people. Phone did not work.
It was a great location , and good for what we needed for the few days we were there. The staff was friendly. The pool was clean. Was quite at night. During our stay there was another family that had probably 20 people with them staying in only 2-3 rooms(which isn't allowed) they hogged the entire pool, all the pool chairs, grills, and tables by the grills ALLLLLL DAY LONG. There are signs next to the grill that says max time is 30 minutes, and again they used it literally all day, we couldn't even sit down by the pool, because we couldn't. One of their kids were walking around in their diaper and getting in the pool, gross! I found this irritating the staff didn't say anything to them! There are other guest that paid to use your amenities too!
Consierge named Pam was extremely helpful and flexible with our check in and check out. Just because the architecture is from the doo whop era doesn't mean the mattress, bedding, and poolside amenities need to be 50 y/o. Who thought Faux Palm trees were a good idea?
