Excellent hotel not only for the location and the beauty of the property itself but mostly for the team working there and for how they really made a difference in our vacaction. Excellent hotel that I will recommend to anyone who travels to Santorini.

They should remove the straws from the juices and should give the guest the option not to change the towells everyday.

Avaton, perched atop the Imerovigli cliffs, offers one of the best sunset views we've ever witnessed (personally, we felt Imerovigli has the best view in all of Santorini). Like this sunset, Avaton is just as perfect - the hosts give you a warm welcome, the staff treat you as family, and the facilities are impeccably maintained. We loved everything from the complimentary wine in our room to the unbelievable to-order breakfast. For us, all of this came at an unbelievable value as this hotel cost less than half of some of its neighbors (from the outside, there is no appreciable difference to justify the premium). It would be an injustice not to say more about the hosts. Kostas and Emilio are available to attend to your every need. Need a place to eat? An itinerary? Best time to go to Oia? A car rental? These guys will make sure that any and every request you have will be taken care of with priority. Do yourself a favor. Book this place and, like we did, use your savings to get a massage, rent an ATV, and enjoy great food and wine!

Our stay at The Avaton was absolutely perfect! The property is gorgeous, clean, and high-end. The location is perfect - a close walk to Fira or a gorgeous hike to Oia - or just stay in Imerovigli with some cute restaurants and shops. The best part of the Avaton is their staff - Konstantino is incredibly kind, gracious, and hospitable! My wife had a massage and the spa staff was EXCELLENT too. The breakfast and dinner was fresh, local, and hand-made. We loved every minute of our stay!

The location was amazing, the staff was extremely professional, and it was truly a luxurious experience. The spa facilities were top notch, and the view from the poolside was one of the best on the island. Awesome breakfast served in your room each morning, Dora and Kelly helped with all of our arrangements on the island. I can’t say enough good things about Avaton.

The staff was fantastic and attentive to detail. The location was perfect to view the Santorini sunsets, visit Fira, and make the hike to Oia. The staff helped arrange for transportation, dining recommendations, and reservations for activities and all were top notch. The breakfast outside our room each day was wonderful and we loved the cave spa. We can't say enough good things about the Avaton and look forward to returning some day.
