Ventajas: Very clean and comfortable place next to the Gatwick Airport.

Ventajas: Very clean and cozy beds. Taxies called by reception is resonable for us. The price is cheap and seevice is good. I will visit again if I have to stay nearby gatwick airport. It is proper hotel for every group but special good to family

Desventajas: Toilet is little small but enough for me. I am a man. My height is 176cm. Weight is 68kg.

Teníamos previsto hacer la entrada en el hotel muy tarde por la noche y no hubo ningún problema. Nos enviaron las indicaciones para nuestro checking y todo fue magnífico. Al día siguiente llegamos algunos minutos tarde al desayuno, pero tampoco hubo problemas para que nos lo sirvieran. Un diez en la atención!!!!

Ventajas: The proprietors were lovely. The best part of staying there was they picked us up from the airport one day and drove us there the next for our flight out. It was so nice not to have to worry about transportation. Breakfast was made to order and very good. Bed was comfortable. Room spacious enough. Good restaurants in walking distance.

Desventajas: There was a little traffic noise.

Ventajas: Perfect location, really close to Gatwick airport. Free airport transfers are a major plus. Few restaurants in the local area if needed. Room was clean and tidy with all the amenities you could want. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

Ventajas: Comfortable, efficient room conveniently located near the Gatwick airport in the neighboring town of Horley. Made-to-order breakfast was delicious. Hosts picked us up and delivered us back to Gatwick airport. The B&B is a 10 minute walk into Horley town with a variety of restaurants.

Ventajas: What a beautiful little place! It seems like it’s far from the airport but it’s quite close! Maybe 5-8 min drive. They arrange a private taxi company which is way cheaper. The host was so lovely and kind. Fresh baked cookies in the room with water. The dinner menu was fabulous! Overall I would stay here again!

Desventajas: Algo caro para estar un poco perdido en medio de la nada. No hay Indicaciones para encontrarlo, un poco complicado llegar, sobre todo si vas de noche.

Ventajas: El desyuno es muy completo y la habitacion muy comoda e igual a las imagenes que mostraban en la pagina. Me parecio un lugar magico para descansar.

Desventajas: llegar es un poco lioso y no esta muy bien indicado, la zona son carreteras rurales y sin luz. yo llegue por la noche y me costó un poco localizarlo.

Desventajas: The bedroom single deluxe. The sleeping area bed plus approx foot was length of the room. Very boxed in. For me the main issue noise of aircraft . Due to very close to property even with windows and door shut. Therefore had trouble sleeping. Shame with all the plus points above.

Ventajas: Warm greeting, wonderful Spanish girl I forgot her name couldn't do enough for us.The hotel is great for an overnight stay.Decor was great rooms were done in soft grey,fittings & bed linens were well presented. Building was charming from the outside, very picturesque surroundings. We loved staying there. The girls even helped us with our luggage.

Desventajas: Not a complaint and it may be listed in the hotel details but for breakfast only options are continental, eggs and kippers. Wasn't an issue for me but don't be expecting a full English......

Ventajas: From the moment we arrived Quasim was so friendly and helpful. We stayed at The Lawn Guest House as we were due to fly from Gatwick early the following morning. The location was great, literally 5 minutes drive to the airport. We are quite new to travel and Quasim helped us so much, booking us a taxi (driven by Quasims mum, she was lovely too) to take us to the airport, explaining what we had to do and where we had to go. He really did settle my nerves. We also left our vehicle at the Lawn Guest House for the duration of our holiday and it was well looked after. Again nothing for us to worry about. Our room was clean and comfortable, unfortunately for us the people in the room above or behind us were quite noisy, so we didn't get a lot of sleep, but this is no reflection on the property at all. Its just bad luck.

Desventajas: We were really happy with our stay. For the money that we paid, I would not have expected anymore. The owner, was friendly and so helpful and the room clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for?

Ventajas: Everything about our stay was excellent the host was very friendly and helpful, our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and we would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Ventajas: I stayed here for one night before a flight from Gatwick. There’s lots of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was perfect and only £5 and for £8 I got a lift to the airport too. Great host. Great place. Would come again.

Ventajas: The location is excellent. Although I arrived in the middle of the night the courtesy bus took no time at all to pick me up. Breakfast was fine but not outstanding in any way. The whole place had an air of efficiency. The bathroom was small but everything worked well and was clean.

Desventajas: It's a long time since I stayed in such a small room. I had two cases and the only place I could put them in the room was up against the door. Thank goodness there wasn't a fire. That being said I was only staying one night and the room was clean, and the (single) bed confortable enough

Ventajas: Great proximity to the airport and very convenient shuttle to get to my flight in the morning. Really comfortable sleep and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ventajas: The staff & food was excellent and surpassed our expectations and if flying from Gatwick again I would reuse!

Desventajas: Nothing really apart from noisy couple outside in the car park at 02.30 not sure if they were staff or guests! But that’s not the hotels fault!

Ventajas: Room was nice and clean and Josephine, the receptionist, was friendly and helpful. The building is old, but with a lot of charm from a by-gone era. I had a great authentic curry at a restaurant just nearby. Very short distance to airport.

Ventajas: Location was good. A walk into town - five minutes. Cab to North Terminal. 10 minutes. Six pounds.

Ventajas: Great coffee, great cooked breakfast, great shower, great beds. Really clean and comfortable. The decor is a bit dated, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into making it a great place to stay.

Desventajas: No disponen de servicio de transporte al aeropuerto...nos llamaron a un taxi para salir de madrugada y no apareció. Tuvimos que ingeniarnosla por nuestra cuenta para llegar al aeropuerto. Casi perdemos el vuelo. La chica de recepción no supo informarnos sobre las alternativas y horarios para llegar al aeropuerto. Salíamos pronto y no nos dieron opción de llevar el desayuno tipo picnic pese a estar incluido en el precio.

Ventajas: good for gatwick and arranged for a vehicle to take my bike to airport.

Ventajas: As we were delayed coming back for 5 hours the owners very kindly left the keys outside so we could let ourselves in .Room was very nice .very cosy .we had a great night sleep .would recommend staying there it's lovley

Ventajas: It was a lodge, which was convenient for a night's sleep, shared bathroom and clean. It did what it said on the tin.

Ventajas: Well located, clean and convenient - excellent value for money. Despite the fact that we didn’t interact with the hosts in person as we arrived after check in had closed, the communication via booking.com and the notes they left meant everything was seamless in terms of entry and then the transfer to the airport in the morning. Complimentary taxi to the airport was a big factor in our booking. Tea and coffee facilities in the room which were helpful for the early start.

Desventajas: Nothing. It’s dated in terms of decor so some guests may not like that, same with the shared bathrooms. But that’s all advertised and you can’t complain for the price.

Ventajas: Masslink it is my favorite guest house. I am back often. Thank you.

Ventajas: Todo me parecio muy correcto. La habitacion bien, limpia y comoda. Acorde a su valor. El barrio es impecable como todo en Inglaterra. No pude conocer mas porque estuve solo una noche. Cerca de Gatwick, 30 min caminando.

Desventajas: No tener un espacio comun. O al menos no lo vi. Solo un Hall de entrada y la escalera a las habitaciones.

Ventajas: The staff and the room were great, comfortable, clean and pick up and drop off service was right on time. The location is perfect as one can walk into the village for a pre flight stretch.

Desventajas: The salad in the restaurant was terrible -just allot of meat and mush of dressing. Would have liked more lettuce as that is what a salad is. A nice fresh salad of another type should be on the menu. Pre flight meals should be light. The price of the stay is as high as the airport hotels. I will check all costs such as the drop off fee and rooms fee next time to see which is the better value.

Desventajas: The property, although clean, could benefit from a little TLC, eg, a coat of paint, carpet replaced.

Ventajas: The Gatwick is a great location to Gatwick airport. Parking was ok. Facilities were good and beds comfortable. Pretty easy to find and get to.

Desventajas: The downside is that the outside rooms face the carpark. If anyone is outside either smoking or talking it is noisy in the room. Particularly difficult if people are smoking if the windows are open because of the heat.

Ventajas: Very comfortable beds. Good room size. Value for money.

Desventajas: Bigger bath towels needed. Some items of buffet breakfast were cold. Not enough milk provided in room (6 pots for 3 people)

Ventajas: The property served our purpose, close to Gatwick. The room was adequate for a short stay. The staff were friendly and informative.

Ventajas: The welcome the smooth airport transfer. Decor. Relaxed varied breakfast. A very good nights sleep.

Desventajas: I struggled with the door lock on my room very stiff. I would have preferred en-suite but realised it would not always be possible in an old house.

Ventajas: The efficiency in the running of the guest house was plain to see from check in to check out. The Art Deco theme was really classy and made such a change from the usual boring chintz curtains and pine furniture. The transport included to and from Gatwick was an added bonus.

Desventajas: Understandably you do have to pay extra for parking but not a criticism

Ventajas: Typically British. Very cozy structure - very polite and competent staff. Picture truly respect rooms and place. Silent and just a 5 min walk off the city centre

Ventajas: Wendy kindly picked us up from the station and checked us in. She then took us to the airport early on a cold morning! Far better experience than sitting in a charmless hotel in Gatwick.

Ventajas: Friendly and accommodating staff, very clean and well maintained property and close to where I wanted to be.

Desventajas: The info on free shuttle was a bit misleading as it only ran up to a certain time, which was earlier than my arrival time. However it was easily remedied so no real hassle.

Ventajas: El hotel tenía un recepcionista amable y dispuesto a complacernos con nuestra necesidad de aire acondicionado pero fallaron porque sólo tenía calefacción disponible... en agosto!

Desventajas: A pesar de que anunciaban, no había aire acondicionado.

Desventajas: The only downside is the parking. If you are driving a Range Rover or big car don’t go on to upper parking its a night mare right ,square corners , tight space to ramp , no warning signs of this , you only realise when you turn to go up the ramp. Top of car park wall no protection on wall so scrapes car as space so tight to get round.

Desventajas: Hotel bus only ran every 45 minutes from the terminal.

Ventajas: Functional hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for an overnight airport stopover. The car park seemed small but didn't have any problem finding a space late evening.

Ventajas: Ibis hotels are always pretty good. Nice bed and clean with good breakfast.

Desventajas: Air con was not adjustable and the room was hot which affected our sleep. Happened in another ibis too last year so this needs to be looked into.

Ventajas: El alojamiento está muy cerca del aeropuerto,si vas al hotel en taxi te costará 15£. Nosotros volviamos de un vuelo transcontinental y para descansar nos fue genial. Tienen servicio de restaurante que está muy bien. Un autobús te lleva por 4£ de vuelta a Gatwick desde la puerta( los menores no pagan). Para una escala es perfecto.

Desventajas: En la habitación había un ligero olor raro, creo que hubiesen debido limpiar mejor.

Ventajas: We left early so have no idea what the breakfast was like. The trip from the airport was actually cheaper by taxi when we arrived than it was to be ferried back next morning by the hotel - but it was handy.

Desventajas: The rooms very much lack soundproofing. We were close to the stair so it was noisy at times. There isn`t a great deal to do in the area although it WAS a Sunday we were there.

Ventajas: Location good for access to Gatwick airport and an excellent transport service provided. Pleasant staff

Desventajas: Breakfast was disaster, cook arrived at 7:30 am and we had booked Airport pickup for 8:00am. So we did not get decent breakfast and paid 6 pounds each! DO NOT BUY BREAKFAST IF YOU HAVE TO LEAVE BY 8:00AM.

Ventajas: Close to the airport and they offer an early morning shuttle service. Simple and efficient check-in and check-out. Quiet surroundings. Comfortable for an overnight stay before an early morning flight from Gatwick.

Desventajas: For some guests, the shower room might be a bit compact to maneuver around in.

Desventajas: Mejor insonorización

Ventajas: Habitación limpia, buena situación al lado del aeropuerto de Gatwick. Perfecto para cuando tu vuelo llega muy tarde o te sale muy temprano. El servicio de transfer puntual y rápido. Buena relación calidad y precio.

Desventajas: La cama no era muy cómoda. Aunque no importa para una sola noche.

Desventajas: Staff booked me for 0430 shuttle to Gatwick airport. When shuttle arrived there was no room for me so the shuttle did not take me, nearly got late for my flight as i had to take a taxi. No staff to sort it, i ended up paying for shuttle and a taxi.

Ventajas: ubicacion (a 5. minutos del aeropuerto en la van del hotel) muy buena actitud de quien nos busco y llevo al aeropuerto y tambirn recibio en el Lodge facilidad traslados desfe y hacia el aeropuerto incluso fuera de horario ( con un costo en ese csso de 6 libras)

Desventajas: The smell in my room was very musky especially in the bathroom. The pillows on the bed were practically not pillows.

Ventajas: Está solo a 5 min del aeropuerto en coche. Por 8 libras por habitación te van a buscar al aeropuerto. El personal muy amable.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones con moqueta.

Ventajas: Great little shower with plenty of water pressure and hot water. Comfortable bed, nice little bar downstairs and great curries. Near train station and Gatwick airport.Ask for a room

Desventajas: Bedroom and ensuit was extremely small.Double bed was pushed up against the wall. Difficult to fill kettle from basin tap.

Ventajas: Transfer from airport to hotel v.v. (for a fee per trip/room). A nice bar with fair prices. Parking area is spacious.

Desventajas: Our room was too expensive, it should just cost half of it. Not enough water pressure for decent shower. Spring bed not comfortable.

Ventajas: Great location, good facilities food and drink and good shuttle to the airport

Desventajas: La limpieza en las zonas comunes o el interior del coche que nos trasladaba al aeropuerto era pésima. El mobiliario de las zonas comunes y en particular del comedor estaba sucio y en mal estado.

Ventajas: No frills. Budget great for me. Pickup/ drop service.. friendly helpful staff.. Food room great. Breakfast etc. Short walk to nice well serviced village town. My experience AAAAA++++

Ventajas: The room was vey comfortable, staff very welcoming and helpful. Transport to airport very efficient.

Ventajas: The room was good. The staff are friendly. It is conveniently close to Gatwick airport. Transport was organised by the lodge at a reasonable rate.

Desventajas: Shower cubicle very small.

Ventajas: Reasonably priced transfer to Gatwick at 3 00 am

Ventajas: Being able to leave the car in a safe place, and be transported very quickly and efficiently to and from the airport.

Desventajas: Breakfast - there could have been a better selection - fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc.

Ventajas: The staff were great very helpful, the breakfast was good plenty of it and the place and room were very clean.

Desventajas: The sheets didn't fit the bed so it was uncomfortable and the duvet was also too small which meant the covers didn't cover us properly.

Ventajas: Easy to get to the airport and a helpful driver

Desventajas: We must have waited to do the Check in outside the building at night time as the recepcionist had to drive some people to the airport at the same time. Understable but not very nice for the guests (us).

Ventajas: No time for breakfast - had to leave at 6.30 to catch a plane, but excellent transfer service to Gatwick airport.

Desventajas: My room was at the very top of 2 flights of very steep stairs; fortunately the receptionist helped me by carrying up my suitcase.

Desventajas: Pillamos un día de ola de calor en Londres y al ser la buhardilla se concentró allí todo el calor, parecía un horno. No recomiendo esta habitación para gente alta, tendrá que ir encogida todo el rato.

Ventajas: Great location and affordable for a one night stay. Everything there that was need and staff friendly and approachable

Desventajas: Virgin wifi - incluso la versión de 7 libras por día - era inconsistente y irregular, cayendo con frecuencia.

Ventajas: 1) Me encantó que el precio estaba entre el más barato y el más cercano al aeropuerto de Gatwick. El personal era amable y servicial. 2) su glosa hacia el Gatwick Express (terminal sur) para coger el tren expreso a la estación Victoria y de vuelta. Sugiero comprar las entradas en línea, es más barato. 3) la habitación estaba limpia, así como el baño. 4) hay una gasolinera al lado del hotel, y tiene una tienda conveniente. 5) el servicio de transporte al aeropuerto pasa cada 15 minutos

Desventajas: 1) no se dieron instrucciones a través de la compañía de reserva ni en su sitio web sobre cómo llegar al hotel con el servicio de transporte desde el aeropuerto. Habría facilitado la obtención de esta información adicional a su llegada. [ FYI: Al salir de la terminal (al menos en el sur) debe bajar a la planta baja y esperar en el aparcamiento del autobús 8-9. Creo que hay 5 autobuses (G1, G2, G3, I7 y I8) y dependiendo del hotel que vaya a usted debe utilizar el correcto. Cada viaje en el autobús cuesta 3 libras. Otra señora que viajaba a otro hotel tenía información específica para imprimir sobre dónde conseguir el autobús y cuál. ] 2) el wifi en el hotel es gratuito, aunque a veces perdería conectividad y a veces se descuenta. La velocidad era de alrededor de 2Mbs y tenía un ping de por lo menos 500. 3) la puerta de mi habitación (418) se cerraba, pero no pude usar el perno de seguridad. Supongo que golpearía el marco de la puerta o así.

Ventajas: La comida que comí en el bar era buena, y todo el personal era muy amable y servicial.

Desventajas: El aire acondicionado no parecía estar funcionando en mi habitación (sólo soplaba aire caliente), pero la ventana se abrió, así que no sentí la necesidad de contactar a nadie al respecto.

Ventajas: We arrived at 930 and before I booked I checked to see if they had food, the website said restaurant and room service neither was open ona Saturday night, after along day of traveling. The staff was less than friendly or helpful! The walls are paper thin we could here conversations and people coughing throughout the night. I’ve stayed at Airbnb in the area with better hosts , nicer facilities, cleaner and quieter! Would not stay there again and do not recommend!

Ventajas: Picture and the hotel is totally different

Desventajas: The receptionist was v unfriendly, like he was doing me a favor. I emailed them in the morning to find out about shuttle services and didn’t receive a reply, and hassled to find my way to the hotel. I would definitely not stay there again!

Ventajas: Lo mejor la ubicación y la posibilidad de Shuttle al aeropuerto, aunque sea de pago.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones eran viejas.

Ventajas: El hotel está bien ubicado de la terminal sur del aeropuerto de Gatwick. Andando son unos 30 minutos, pero hay un autobús, el número 100 dirección Redhill que te deja en la puerta en solo 10 minutos. El hotel es sencillo, limpio y el personal es atento. Buena opción si llegas tarde a Gatwick o vas a salir muy temprano.
