Riad Idra

The Riad is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk through the door off a little alleyway you are transported into a beautiful, calm oasis. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable with thoughtful touches to enhance your stay (a gift of slippers, Chanel perfume in the bathroom for your use etc). The courtyard is serene, the spa is a luxurious addition (the hammam really has to be tried!) but my favorite location was the roof terrace. Whether enjoying the amazing complimentary breakfast, indulging in a four course dinner, playing backgammon with a cocktail at sunset or merely relaxing with a book on one of the loungers, this was my favorite place in the Riad. Only a few steps away from the bustle of the Souk but another world. But what truly made our stay such an unforgettable experience was the staff. From our initial contact with the Manager Karine, who recommended things for us to do during our stay (all fabulous) to every person we came into contact with, they were all wonderful. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable - can’t wait to go back.

As all the rooms open on to the Central Courtyard, it can be a little noisy at times.

The Riad was beautiful, and our room looked like a little jewel, with a gorgeous plant filled courtyard. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped me when my luggage was delayed beyond what I could have expected. Extremely graciously. And mint tea always arrived with the most delightful sweet treats.

Everything about the Riad was perfect- we were met at the airport and the transfer was seamless. We left the taxi, got met by one of the staff and taken to the Riad. Location was perfect- easy to find and right by the start of the soul. The Riad it’s self was stunning and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. The central courtyard and rooftop terrace were perfect for a coffe and book session. The manager went out of her way to ensure that we knew what we were doing, recommending places to visit, booking places to eat( that we would have never gone to). Nothing was ever too much hassle and the trip for us was perfect. Breakfasts were a treat and I loved the mix between Moroccan and traditional food. Only regret was that we did not have an evening meal! They looked amazing. Defiantly will be back and could not ask for more in a place to stay. Thank you very much!
