The Lord Balfour Hotel

Location was awesome - only a block from the beach. Lobby area was pleasant. Staff was kind. Room was fairly clean.

I didn't like how impersonal the kiosk check-in experience was. The first room we were assigned to completely didn't lock, so we had to get a new room, but the door not locking on the first room made us distrust the security of the entire hotel. Our room was kind of dirty and worn down (the windows were especially disgusting). Also the safe in our room didn't work at all. And the shower, although cool conceptually, really could have used a lip or something to keep all of the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. Also the drinks at the hotel bar were outrageously expensive.

The hotel is close to the beach. Rooms were spacious.

It was quite old and things didn’t work. I had to change rooms which was fine without any issue but the door to the room would stick to the floor and the place creaked making it quite noisy. The pool was a disappointment too as very small. There are better hotels in Miami Beach for the same money.

Nos hicieron pagar una tarifa por noche que no era opcional. Por desgracia llovió todo nuestro viaje, así que no podíamos usar las sillas de playa ni las toallas, pero me las cobraron de todos modos. No hay piscina. Es engañoso porque dicen que hay pero se está construyendo aún.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, en pleno South Beach Ocean Drive, si bien aparenta un hotel un tanto viejo, está todo reciclado y es muy confortable, la atención es muy buena. Ideal para relajarse y pasar unos días muy cerca de la playa.

Hay un bar que en ciertas horas ofrece tragos gratis...esos dejan mucho que desear. Desayuno sencillo pero incluido en el precio.

Es un hotel sin lujos, pero muy comodo ubicado en una zona excelente de miami, es muy recomendable.

Position of the hotel, personnel. And really Is a good choice if you wnt to have a quiet area in the South Beach. We enjoyeed our stay there.
