Breakfast included with the booking at ground floor cafe. Location of the hotel was close to Macy's and other department stores.
Check-in service, cleaness, furnishment, toilet, almost everything in the room needs an upgrade.
Warning for the HIDDEN fee! This hotel secretly charged my credit card for a fee called facility fee. Neither the staff or Kayak site or Getaroom site mentioned anything about this upon my booking. Until I questioned about the extra charge ($30 per night), the hotel explained because the booking sites did not charge a sufficient amount. Lol. I called Getaroom later, and they seemed not to know anything about the fee. Overall, with the total cost of over $100 per night, the service is not deserved your money.
AC did not work. Our room was so hot like 80degree. Carpet dirty and walls filthy. Not worth the money. We were charged facility fee which we didnt use any. It was hidden fee actuallly since it was not noted on the website there will be added fee. This is the worst hotel weve been. I would rather book an inn or a lodge instead.
Everything. Check in was too long. Not enough staff. Unaccomodating staff and UNCOMFORTABLE hotel room where AC does not work.
Dirty and disgusting
There is nothing we liked about the hotel. It was disgusting dirty yellow sheets with hair all over and bathroom is so gross everything is so old and dirty Almost throw up going into the room and couldn’t even stay in the room so we checked in and checked out
Everything Everything was just so gross and disgusting
This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in!!
This place is HORRID!!! The pictures of the lobby are completely deceptive of what your will get in your rooms. We had a room with the original carpet from the 40's that was disgustingly stained, cigarette burns in the bedding of which we had ZERO blankets, plumbing so old it leaked all night, heater didn't work. Paint was pealing from the ceiling from multiple water leaks. Hotel management was unbelievably snarky when asked for a new room and finally a refund as we left this nightmare.
The location was what ultimately sold me on this hotel. It was withing walking distance of the Empire State building, Madison Square Garden, Times Square, and other landmarks. For New York the price of the room was amazingly affordable. There were doormen out front to help with directions and luggage if needed, as well as a taxi stand. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. This was the only budget hotel I found (during my requested frame) that offered twin beds rather than bunk beds that might be a challenge for older adults. They also offered a complimentary continental breakfast.
While the lobby was well maintained, and the rooms were generally clean, they were extremely shabby. The carpet was threadbare, the bathtub was badly rusted, and the doors and walls were badly in need of pain. After spotting a mouse peeking from under the radiator, we requested another room and were given an upgrade that was considerably larger, but it was pretty shabby too. The hallway carpet on our new floor was badly stained and filthy. Some of the amenities advertised, like discounts at the food hall across the street and airport shuttle to LaGuardia, were no longer available. However, management was receptive to our complaints and gave us a substantial discount on our stay. If you're on a tight budget and just need a place to bed down overnight, or sight-seeing is your main priority, you might consider it. But if you can afford it, I'd strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
Must be removed from Kayak Marketing
Nothing...
The hotel was extremely dirty and it stunk of urine. I saw a mice in the dorm... Sincerely, this hotel should be removed from Kayak forever. There’s no words to describe how bad is this hotel...I feel that we were deceived by the Hotel and Kayak... please remove this kind of hotels from here...
Place is a dump
Location
Nothing including the pillows have been updated since the 60’s. Very poorly maintained and misleading.
There was a rat in my room
There was a rat that came in and out of a hole in the wall the entire bathroom had mold and the walls were covered in mold ... I’m reporting kayak and this hotel to the health department. This hotel and kayak are illegally profiting from selling rooms that should be condemned...
Worst hotel ever
Nothing
The rooms and devise were horrible. Room was old. Dirty walls. Plaster was peeling off the walls. Carpet was soiled. The bathroom faucet broken and constantly leaking. The room was a disaster. Location was everything but the conditions of this room destroyed my trip. I’ll never stay at this place again and I hope that people would run from this hotel.

No estaba limpio y olía fatal
