Mahekal Beach Resort

Incredibly comfy rooms and beds. Great facilities and right on the beach. Easy access to lots of bars restaurants and shops.

A lot of single use plastic. They should try and use reusable water bottles and a fountain.

The property was immaculate and shockingly peaceful. (no silly signs telling you what NOT to do, etc - super curated) The staff was chill, fun and friendly and seemed to appreciate my broken Spanish. The on-property restaurants were top-notch and it was an effortless walk into town to find fun. Will return!

No complaints!

I loved the food and the rustic atmosfeer. It made you feel somewhat in the a remote area of the caribbean. The beaches was not the best but it wasn't bad either. Sand and sun is what you will get. I felt safe even though some locals where enjoying the beach also.

The room provides mosquito repellent there is a reason for that! It didn't ruin my stay.

It is a excellent place to stay, the staff members in all areas are incredible polite, professional and must important very friendly. Service is above expectations and everyone front desk, restaurants, beach and pools, housekeeping help to to make a relaxing and incredible time. The rooms are clean, nice and well maintain. The different areas makes you feel are restful and very nice You have access to 5 Avenida in a short walk. The restaurants atmosphere, and food quality are way above. No need to go to other places to eat The security and control access are excellent make you feel safe.

Las habitaciones están limpias, con buenas instalaciones. No había televisión ni máquina de café, etc. playa, restaurante y spa opciones eran muy buenas. El personal era excelente... y me refiero al otro lado de la mesa. Simplemente increíble.

Las habitaciones, las instalaciones, la ubicación, el personal y la playa solitaria. Me gustó tanto, que ya hemos reservado otro viaje a principios de 2017. La ubicación céntrica para ir a la Playa Del Carmen se agradece.
