Personal excelente.
On arrival we were greeted courteously and efficiently. The hotel is was large and spacious in a garden setting. Our room was well furnished though somewhat dated in style (the hotel is currently undergoing renovation - but no noise from any work activity). We stayed during a period of appallling weather in Tenerife - electricity supply was cut in Santa Cruz but at the hotel power was restored immediately. The damage tothe grounds was quickly cleared and restored. Staff were excellent providing information about the impact of the weather on flights and in providing information on the local weather. A very enjoyable stay.
As with any five star hotel the cost of food is high - though as it was carnival in Santa Cruz costs of food everywhere rocketed so it would have been the same price to eat in the hotel as other places.

Wonderful old world hotel. Perhaps the brass is a bit dull but the gardens and location more than make up for any signs of aging over the years. The staff is great, the breakfast wonderful. Even the girl in the gift shop could not do enough for us - we love this hotel. We hope that with the renovation this year they don't lose any of their charm! Make sure to see the turtles!!!
No complaints
it was beautiful and old and a few weeks away from being renovated but it was wonderfully located great staff and would easily stay there again
we checked in very early so we got one of the earliest roomsif we were going to stay more than two nights I would have wanted a better room
Good breakfast. Good location, close to a nice park.
Room was rather cold, no heating is envisaged, if it is not so warm outside in february (heater was brought to the room). Furniture in rooms is rather out-worn.
It is a beautiful spacious hotel with lovely gardens. Near an attracative park, it was an easy walk to the town centre. Good views from the room. Efficient cleaning. Food in hotel retaurant was excellent - but not cheap.
There is no hotel parking and finding a space in the vicinity was a nightmare.
Generosity of the hotel itself. The detail is made with a great attention. Great pool and a great staff by it, at the bars and casino.
Receptionists were a little uneducated about Tenerife itself - I would be looking for more help and support from them.
Very nice hotel and staff very helpfull. Get a court yard room if you like it quiet. Price about what you would expect for this quality hotel
Swimming pool still not open. Not totaly up to UK 5* standards but very nice. Trffice and parking a nightmar.
