Hotel Himalaia Soldeu

We made a request to have a room in the highest floor possible, and we weren't disappointed, the staff fulfilled our desire successfully. The living room was big and it had a kitchenette that ended up to be very useful. It also had a cute balcony with the Mountain view (amazing!). The hotel provides free lockers to store your snow equipment and also offers discounts for the equipment rental in the locals stores. Additionally, we loved the entertainment night with the magician, he was super cool and professional and we had a lot of fun. The staff from the cafeteria was attentive and friendly. Everytime we asked for something the staff was always collaborative. Regarding the meals (breakfast and dinner) there was a wide variety of offered dishes. There were tasty and the service was good and clean.

There were two bathrooms in the room and both were tiny. It would be a better idea to have just one bigger bathroom because with the one we had, it was really hard to take a shower due to the small size of the bathtub. Additionally, the hand towels in one of the bathrooms were next to the toilet and touching it, making it not higienic at all. Also, the bath towels didn't have a place to be hanged on, they were just on the bench next to the toilet, again unhygienic. In addition to that, the bedroom was to close to the main door and its window was pointed to a wall, so there was no natural light coming in. Because of the bed’s location, we could hear every single noise from the corridor causing us to wake up a lot of times during the night. So the isolation of the room was poor. The bed sheet looked clean and ironed but there still had some little hairs on it. One last thing to point out is that we had dinner included in our reservation and we were a little surprised when we had to pay the drinks, we think that at least water and fruit juices should be included.
