The breakfast was great. Staff was friendly especially the cleaners. Swimming pool was great outside. In an industrial area so there was alot of restaurants. The elevator smelled like someone pissed in it. You had to hold your nose and there are no stairs you need to use this due to stairs being emergency exit only. Sauna was not as hot as it is supposed to be. Asked check out if I needed to come down and bring keys for check out they said no. So left and received a call a couple hours later to them complaining about how I needed to check out due to bookings being needed. I told them I left a few hours ago and they complained about how I should have came down and told them I was leaving.
Everything NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANYTHING
Nice big room. Hotel located in a quiet area. None.
Friendly staff, very accommodating I was pleased with it all
We travelled all over the north east and payed hundreds of dollars on hotels (one was $800 for two nights) this hotel beat all of them in price and luxury! Perfect size safe and BEAUTIFUL rooms. Happiest I've ever been spending money on a room.
The staff was super friendly. The room and facility were very clean. Appreciate the effort to be green with the divided trash cans though a liner in the"trash" side would be nice. Restaurant prices were high for what you get. The pool is very small.
I love the comfort and appearance of the room. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful Closing of pool was too early for the weekend
Bed was pretty comfortable. The room was filthy! There was a used bottle shampoo left from previous people who stayed in this room, along with hair all over the shower wall. Also, there were cigarette burns on the sheets. The room just felt dirty. I wanted to take two showers after leaving the Red Roof Inn.
Kind of a shady place ... Not too clean and feels a little unsafe. Location near the freeway to Baton Rouge is convenient and price is rock bottom, but be aware of what you're getting.
Love the updated rooms. $80 anywhere else.im coming back at these rates ! Eat before you check in as not much to choose from At this exit.
The location of the hotel was very good. There were two holes in the wall and no shower pressure.
Did not felt safe
Nothing Everything. Really bad part of town.
We checked in a bit early and the staff was friendly, patient, and rallied to find a room to suit our reservation room type. It was a busy weekend and they worked together to show true hospitality. Lobby did not have a restroom for visitors checking in, that was very uncomfortable getting off the interstate at our destination and having to wait an extended amount of time to check in but having to either leave to go to the nearest gas station or wait until we had keys and could access our room. And there was obvious water damage to the walls and ceiling.
Free breakfast n dinner also 3 free drinks for happy hour Tons of kids on Saturday running all over the hotel
We stay at the Drury in BR often. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The free food, drinks, hot tub and pool are wonderful! The decor is gorgeous and more representative of a higher priced hotel! It's family friendly and a great value for your money!
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. Nothing
Really great on the first night. We had the pool to ourselves. It got a bit crowded after that but understandably since it was the holiday weekend. Overall a good place to stay --- but I found the city itself a little depressing! Overall a good place to stay --- but I found the city itself a little depressing!
The maintainable crew was amazing and deserve a raise The room was to small for the money I paid
great downtown Baton Rouge location My room had no cold water, only hot. And the buttons did not work on the telephone.
Very clean and comfortable , staff was very helpful
The rooms were clean with attractive, fresh decor and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooms were rather small.
Loved the location, ease of getting around downtown BR, Live after Five was awesome. Need new pillows. Had a great time.
The room was impeccable. The front desk, maid, luggage handler, and all phone reps were beyond friendly. I wish I had gotten their names for praise to the managers. Especially considering how busy they must of have been for the holiday, they went above and beyond. The view from our room (river) was perfect and the fireworks show from the pool deck gave me chills! The restaurant staff... Let's see. I placed a breakfast order to go about an hour before they stopped serving on July 4. All staff was wonderful, and I have no complaints. They went above and beyond. While the food was good (lacking much flavor, but cooked okay), the service got them a 30% tip on a to go order. On July 5, I dined alone and ordered the buffet. My 'server' must have partied a bit too hard the night before. All she served me - without me having to ask - was the check, which she brought as soon as I got my food, right after I had to ask for my first water a second time. The buffet had a nice spread, but I guess she assumed that since she didn't have to serve my food, I wouldn't need service at all. I had to ask for refills twice more. She got a 10% tip, and I should have just given that directly to the busser. I was confused about the pool. They gave all of these rules about passes for guests, with it being the 4th. So, I followed the rules and turned 4 people away (my parents and their two out of town friends) from watching with us at the pool. During the show, we were surrounded by loud, obnoxious people NOT WEARING THE 'REQUIRED' WRIST BANDS. if they're going to set restrictions, they should stick to them. Obviously those who don't follow, will also tend to be disrespectful to those around them. Also, not the hotel's fault, I blame parents... The kids were in the pool ALL DAY splashing everyone. I know my mom wouldn't have stood for that. And maybe they should have someone by the pool making sure that all guests can enjoy the amenities, rather than just the children and the parents who used the pool as included childcare. Also, I found out later that the free buffet that was to be for paying guests was in the lobby and the staff said free food from 7-9. We all assumed it was by the pool since the wrist bands were for the pool area. So, we missed out on that and paid for the pool deck food, which was okay.
Wonderful breakfast. Staff was very nice. Room was nice and spacious. The kids were running rampant all through the hotel. On every floor there was stomping, room doors being slammed. Kids turning flips on the couches and chairs in the atrium. Never seen anything like it at a hotel before. A security guard need to be hired to run the kids back to their rooms while their parent drink or swim. Total chaos until late at night. We couldn't get a good nights sleep for all the noise. The hotel in itself is very nice and I would stay there again if there was some kind of control and peace and quiet. Embassy suites are always a favorite of ours.
the size of the rooms, rooms are musky smelling the mattress on the sofa is unusable, no free wireless in room, breakfast line was 45 min suggest you add more staff to help with breakfast
The hotel staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The service is impeccable. We specially like the morning made to order breakfast and the evening reception which brought a relaxing atmosphere to our stay at the Embassy Suite in Baton Rouge. I will be traveling to NY and would like to stay at the Embassy Suites but the price is prohibitive.
Great breakfast buffet, big room, afternoon drinks/snacks were great and nice staff No towels upon arrival. Had to call for hair dryer. Phones in room were broken. Elevators are very slow!
Price was good. We've stayed there many times in the past and it has become a little rundown. Toilets didn't flush well. Rooms smelled dank and moldy.
the BF and room size Front desk staff was not helpful. I had to fly in an AM flight to the town and sent this info to hotel as I know that normal check-in is noon or after. Despite of the fact that many rooms were empty when I was trying to check in (10 AM) the staff said no rooms are ready! it was till 4pm when a room was ready!!
The bedsheets and towels were very comfy and clean. We needed a small crib for our infant but when we called, they told us they had ran out. It would be nice that they have more.
Design of Hotel, breakfast, clean rooms ELEVATORS...too few...too slow.
When you stay at a Courtyard you know you will get a solid value.
This hotel was far enough away from Bourbon Street that the noise didn't bother me when I decided to call it a night, but it was also close enough that it didn't take long to rejoin the nightlife.
We really enjoyed the Courtyard Marriott in Lafayette, LA, so we gave a try on the Courtyard in Baton Rouge, LA. The Baton Rouge Courtyard had a few friendly staff but for the most part it was pretty cold. The hot tub smelled funny like it had not been cleaned, each local call we found out cost 75 cents plus tax, Long distance calls from the rooms began at over five dollars just to dial out, plus tax. There is no wireless, just a plug in ethernet cable. The water tastes funny.
My husband and our pet stayed there for about 4 weeks after hurricane Katrina. Hotel management and staff did everything in their power to help of us make us feel welcome.
We enjoyed our stay. Customer service was great. Their hospitality was amazing.
The Hotel was centrally located, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious.
A LITTLE PRICEY FOR THE CALLIBER OF ROOM, BUT THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN.
Even the rooms without the courtyard views are good. The big King bed is wonderful! The beds are awesome. The high speed Internet is great. In the King rooms, there is a small sofa. The staff were very helpful.
It is nothing 'over the top' but the room was clean and the staff was courteous. The courtyard view was nice. It would be great to have a refridgerator and a microwave in the room. The Internet in the room is awesome. Stayed again at a later date.
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights - service was excellent - they allowed us to check in 2 hours early as we had to get ready for rehearsal dinner - answered questions about local things to do - all around great hotel - very clean too
This was my first stay at a Courtyard Marriott and I was very much pleased with the hotel, but unsure about the area. I felt safe in the parking lot but the area about a block away was questionable. Upon check - in our room wasn't cleaned yet, so the lady at the front desk gave us another room - our choice of a courtyard view or a parking lot view. That was a no brainer. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. Our courtyard view was very nice as well - overlooking the pool and an outdoor garden/sitting area. We even had a balcony to sit out on. Better than looking at the freeway or the parking lot. One thing I would recommend though - a courtyard view is not suitable for children....as there are other hotel rooms facing the courtyard as well, and during our stay some people were not shy about closing their curtains after showers, and while dressing! There was free internet in our room and it worked great. The only disappointing this about staying a...
The A/C did not go out because we love to sleep in the cold. The two flat screen t.v in the room. The breakfast was awesome. My three teenagers loved the breakfast there. On our spring break vacation coming up this year we hope we will find the same hotel there ;-)
Unfortunately not much. First the elevator was broke, and after to flights of stairs the room was already occupied! We were given a new room which had something stuck on the floor, yuck. Beds were hard and pillows were very mushy. We left for most of the next day to return to a room that had the heat turned up to 80. With two small children I was mad! The cleaning staff had no right to change the thermostat. The staff was not helpful and very unpleasant. The hot tube made a horrible sound and had green flakes floating in it from lake of mantinance. Breakfast was a joke with not enough food to feed everyone! And none to bring of out of the back.
It was very clean and comfortable. The extended hours of the indoor pool allowed me to take my 4 year old to swim before we left that morning which she thought was awesome! The continental breakfast was Excellent. The variety of choices of hot or cold food made all the difference for us. Thank you for all the effort that was made on our behalf by the staff.
staff doing home work on business use computer in lobby area, set up sewing machine in lobby, people came to hotel just to eat breakfast , rouch in room second day, bed was comfortable would not stay here again, at nearly $200 a nite I expected better from this chain
The room was clean, the breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Rooms cleaned, staff helpful Weren't clear about the lockbox fee. Form claims we understand that they charge a $1.50 fee if you use the box, but if you check the box to them that means they charge the fee.
Air conditioning was so loud, we left & won't be back there
No problems checking in. Clean room. Spacious room. Helpful services. Good breakfast. Answered questions about cab service to another facility. Overall enjoyed my stay. Thanks and will be using your facility again. NOTHING.
The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was located near several good restaurants. I always have good experiences with Comfort Inn Hotels! Coming from New Orleans on I-10 you have to get off of I-10 west, do a u-turn, get back on I-10 East and then exit to get to the hotel. Tricky, but not too difficult.
The staff were very friendly. I especially liked the agent in the morning. She was personable. Could have been cleaner with good towels.
The staff was very polite and helpful. The morning of checkout I had like 12 little girls with me and the lady that was cleaning helped me out by fixing some of the girls food for me! They should have suites.
Very clean. The staff was nice. Excellent location. N/A
Free breakfast, free snacks, friendly, helpful staff, free internet, free, safe parking, comfortable & bed, free internet. Hotel in iseal location, easily accessible! NO
Clean, nice location good value
IT WAS BERY CLEAN. NO
Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast choices were limited.
The location is near shopping, food, and several businesses. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Hot breakfast was good. Great place to stay. Always choose choice hotels. There was a delay in checking in. The receptionist was occupied with phone calls but otherwise pleasant.
Clean and comfortable. Air conditioning needed a service.
Check in was quick and easy and the room was very affordable. The room smelled a bit. But once the air began to circulate it wasn't as bad.
I like the location of the hotel, and it's complimentary breakfast is OK. The bathroom could've been cleaner. There were stains on the walls and the towels also had stains on them.
clean, friendly desk clerk, reasonably priced, very helpful
Free. Breakfast Could use extra roll of toilet paper
Upon entering room we found long black hair in the sink. Hair and bits of paper on the floor. No Soap. I cleaned the sink and reported the problem. The next morning when my husband went to dry himself after his shower he found the towel was filthy.

Nothing Everything...dirty...old ...small
What I liked most about this hotel, is that it exceeded my expectations for the rating it has. One thing that was inconvienient was that some trucks that were connected to small trailers would take up 5 to 6 parking spots, which caused me to park farther away from my room than I wanted to.
Nothing Everything... Just plain disgusting! I think I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my rental car
The only thing good to say about this hotel is that it was close to the stadium so we didn't have to travel to far afterwards. Where to start, the no smoke alarm because it had been ripped from the ceiling, the security lock being busted on the door or the blood on the bathroom wall tiles. Take your pick, not the best experience.
The staff was great!!
For the price you pay breakfast should be free.
Very clean, modern. Prompt and friendly service. No breakfast included, and food is pricey. No complimentary toiletries. I forgot a comb, and they didn't have any. There are other toiletries for sale.
Very close to I10 Easy to get downtown No breakfast
Location was not terrible. Dirty, shower did not drain, not taken care of, out dated, and One of the worst Marriott properties I've ever stayed at.
The location was great! Rooms were big and the bathroom was roomy. There were renovations going on which I was not told about when I called the hotel the day before to confirm my reservation. The outdoor renovations were "closed" down around 5pm so noise wasn't a problem. The problem was that they were updating some kind of wiring inside the hotel and there were wires hanging from the ceiling on my floor in lots of places, ceiling dust and wood was also all over the floor. This gave the whole interior a dirty, dusty smell and look. I may return once all of the renovations are complete, but I felt that the staff should have given me the renovation information so that I could have made the decision to stay there or not!
Good location close to I-10. Breakfast included. I booked a king size bed but while checking in the lady at the front desk insisted I had booked 2 queen beds. I ended up with 2 double beds. It was midnight and I was too tired to complain... I can understand that they don't have anymore king beds available, but please don't try to convince me I booked something else.
Everyone was so nice. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was wonderful!! Keep up the good work. No elevator in building. Will request a ground floor room.
The property was very inviting and layed out very well. The included features were very good and the included hot breakfast was far superior to most hotels included breakfast. The eating area alone was open and inviting making it an enjoyable experience. The room itself was very comfortable and had everything needed along with space to sit and relax. Definitely going to be a return customer at this location when coming to visit family in the area
' Suites are very nice. Good value for money. ' Clean, tvs , buffet breakfast, beds comfortable ' facilities overall " staff pleasant and accomodating ' towel rack directly in front of sink at sink level. very unusual and inconvenient. ' no elevator in building E only stairs. Inconvenient for 2nd floor room ' no ice machine found on second floor of Bldg. E where we stayed. ' suggestion: inform guest when checking in that If they want ice in their room to let front desk know. The bucket in room is misleading since there is no ice machine. At least we didn't see one on our floor.
Easy to get to games couch was not a pull out bed
Luxurious suite, very modern, plenty of space, good breakfast buffet included.
Clean room. Wish breakfast was served earlier on Saturdays.
breakfast variety and staff friendliness bathroom door location - it opens out into the person at the sink
Very nice staff
The décor was awesome, food was well prepared and nice place to have an after dinner cocktail. All the lighting options in the room were WONDERFUL as well as the places to plug in chargers, etc were convenient and easy to access. I have travelled ALOT and these items are some of the best I've seen anywhere. The room floor was dirty, needed mopping, shower didn't drain well.
I loved that La Quinta accommodates for guests who have dogs. Breakfast was decent. The hotel had a strong smoke odor, but not in our room thankfully. The walls and door were very thin. I was slightly worried about our safety at first. We could hear everything going on in the hallway (guests were loud), and it woke me and my husband up throughout the night. The people next to us had a fun morning that the entire hotel could here. I was surprised at how the staff did not ask people to quite down at 3am when people were being loud, especially considering that we were on the first floor right by the office.
STAFF WAS OK ROOM STAINED WALLS FECAL SMELL IN THE ROOM WASPS NEST BETWEEN WINDOW AND SCREEN
Facility was located in a convenient area off the hwy. The hotel smells terrible. Its as though they've attempted to paint over walls that have obviously been there a long time and exposed to many packs of cigarettes. Our room was unclean, mold in the shower/bathroom, bugs around our sink, and an overall feel of just being dirty. Management needs to consider reconditioning the hotel with new paint (and perhaps drywall is some places), new carpet and new bathrooms. Found this hotel on Kayak for $65/night and clearly got what I paid for. Lesson learned...
it was ok for a quick stay. Appears shoddy. All carpet is stained and hallways smell of smoke.
