Good, convenient position behind the Four Seasons, close to the beach. Staff were nice. Nice spa facilities. Received a villa upgrade from 3 bed to 4 bed with a view of the hillside and some ocean glimpses. Karma is selling itself on providing top end luxury but this set of villas in Jimbaran is looking a bit tired inside and they seem to be taking a few short cuts on the important details that make for a luxury hotel - particularly in Bali where there are plenty that do it really well. It's nice, comfortable and the design is reasonably impressive at first, but I'm not sure that it's living up to the Small Luxury Hotels of the World brand. I would have been disappointed if we'd paid the full rack rate - but we got a pretty good deal through Booking.com so it was fine for the few nights we needed it.

The pool and the thematic dinners The ladies at the front desk (reception) were not very helpful and had trouble understanding english. They didn't seem very aware of their duties and responsabilities. On the other hand, during check out, the staff was very high standard
Non-working room phone, ants in room, cockroaches in breakfast buffet area, no alcohol in in-room mini bar, leaky bathroom faucet, ineffective A/C, lack of organization and coordination amongst staff and departments, management attempts to backtrack on promises. Three star hotel at very best.
It was the perfect exclusive abode to continue our honeymoon experience. We honestly had a wonderful stay. The only thing we could fault is the limited breakfast but that was very minor in the scheme of things.
It's a beautiful place! Great views and great swimming pools. Very romantic! 1. The seawater along the beach is actually quite dirty. After a few minutes in the sea, I couldn't stand it anymore and had to go back to the swimming pools which were very clean and comfortable, but hey we are at the beach and isn't it shame that you can't swim in it? 2. The internet service is not good. You need to pay a lot to have internet in your room. You can have wi-fi in the lobby area but it's really really slow and they cut it off at around 9pm, so not convenient at all. 3. The slippers are too fragile. My husband's and my slippers were both broken during the first day.
Great place for vacation with breath taking views, ocean, etc.. Food & drinks are very expensive in the hotel. Only one restaurant open during the day. NO other activities (like shows for kids, evening music, etc..) in the hotel other than swimming pool.

My son was married at the hotel and I was most impressed with the service of the staff, their politeness and the facilities. I was most impressed with the young woman that checked me in for breakfast most mornings. As with all the staff she was polite and cheerfull. the remoteness from the action spots like kuta and legion but this could also be a good thing. Maybe a shuttle service to these places would be a good thing

todo, es un hotelazo, muy buenola playa ,piscina, masajes, etc..... el hotel esta muy bien , seguro que hay mejores pero este es un super hotel, la gente super amable, exquisito. Pocas pero haylas, la musica del desayuno esta bien 1,2 o 3 dias la misma, luego ya aburre, hay que cambiar el disco pero ya, el servicio de habitaciones bueno, pero te dejan la temperatura a 18 grados, al final escondimos el mando del aire, y el hotel te da taxis a precios suyos, mejor negociarlos uno mismo con el taxista directamente.
Nos dieron una habitación de las reformadas. Creo que le llaman "De Luxe Premiun" . Te dan a entender que te hacen un favor, pero a la hora de la verdad en lugar de dar a la mar o al jardin-piscina, resulta que da a un callejon donde hay un mercadillo. De todos modos era muy confortable y fresca, con buen AA. CC. Pese a la reforma, muchos elementos de la habitación están anticuados. El calor insoportable en los espacios comunes pues no disponen de AA. CC. El aire circulante debería regular la temperatura, pero está mal calculado, y no se puede estar de calor. La sensación es de sauna. Con el calor que hace en Bali, solo encontrábamos respiro en la habitación o metidos en el agua. Para comer o cenar había que ir fuera del hotel a algún restaurante de las cercanías que si tenía AA. CC.
Incluia desayuno y el precio estaba bastante ajustado. Necesita un poco de mantenimiento. La playa no la tienen tan cuidada como otros hoteles en la misma zona. Yo lo usaria para usarlo como hotel de llegada o de salida pero no para estar un dia entero en el.

El personal es muy amable. Lo que menos me ha gustado es la habitacion. En la publicidad sacan unas fotos que no concuerdan con todas las habitaciones.Parece ser que algunas habitaciones han sido reformadas y otras son muy antiguas y sin comodidad. Mi habitacion daba a un muro con un ruido de carretera de fondo, muy lejos de lo esperado. Además la cisterna de la habitación perdia agua,el secador no funcionaba y habia humedades en la habitacion.
Hay un excelente equipo profesional al frente del hotel con sugerencias que mejoran notablemente tu estancia. Podrian,dado el clima, aumentarse las areas comunes con aire acondicionado.

Lo mejor es el trato de los empleados hacia los huespedes, todos fueron super cordiales y siempre con una sonrisa en la boca, tambien me gusto el lujo del hotel, la playa, los restaurantes, el bar en la piscina... El que estuviera un poco apartado y no hubiera transporte publico, pero no solo en el hotel sino en toda la isla de Bali, tienes que moverte siempre en taxi. Tambien que siendo un hotel de lujo el internet no fuera gratis!!

We booked our stay via kayak and when check in, was told by receptionist that breakfast is not included in my package which have been confirmed by agent kayak. I showed them that my booking is inclusive of breakfast, I then emailed to kayak but no response from them till date. Rimba is really nice, after check in, receptionist called and said that the resort will extend breakfast to us for the our stay in Rimba. The staffs at Rimba ensure that whatever request you have will be fulfilled at their best possible. Not that I can think of..
The hotel is absolutely stunning, with modern, tasteful and luxurious finishes. It is connected by frequent tram to its sister resort (Ayana) and to a private beach. It's a little out of the way from Jimbaran itself, and requires an inexpensive taxi ride to and from town. Food at the resort is good but expensive. The spa is astronomically expensive by Bali standards, although it is in line with Western high end resorts. The Rock Bar at the Ayana (for which Rimba guests get priority access) is a lifelong memory (although VERY expensive). The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. The beach is beautiful. Location is quite convenient to the airport. In the early morning, it was only about a 10-15 ride. Honestly think it was our one-time bad luck, as opposed to a constant problem, but the air conditioning in our room could not be adjusted, even after we called for technicians to come and "fix" it. The temperature in our room hovered between hockey arena and cold-freezer. Made for poor sleep in an otherwise very comfortable room. Also, despite all the attention, the hotel managed to forget about giving us a promised wake up call. Fortunately, I set my own alarm just in case. But if I hadn't, we would have missed our early morning flight. The beach is very beautiful, but it's not for swimming. There are lots of big waves and big rocks, and the red flag is probably out 99% of the time. All in all, despite the shortcomings, I still believe this to be an outstanding hotel. Well worth the money (and priced much cheaper than many hotels that are likely comparable in quality).

Right on the busy Jimbaran Beach which is lovely, plenty of good value beach bars very close by. The hotel lacks any atmosphere.
Gives the impresion of abandoned area,everything dirty around,only 3 unbrelas available in pool area the rest were broken and lay aside,I am sure this hotel will close down soon

lovely buildings in the style of Balinesian temples are placed in a beautiful tropical garden, wide sandy beach close to the hotel compex with shade and enough sunbeds to relax, romantic sundown and dinner in the fish warungs on the beach.

Room is big, nice garden, private beach and swimming pool. No wifi in the room. Not sure whether it's because of the air-con or the wooden furniture, there is very strong scent in the room, too strong to fall asleep, basically I didn't sleep all night long.

Beautiful setting just next to the sea. The spaciousness and Balinese design of each lodging surronded by different varieties of trees,shrubs, plants and flowers simply make it seem like a peaceful paradise. All in all, a great place to retreat in serenity and tranquility. The lobby is also very impressive although a bit liveless! Staff do not always observe the "Do Not Disturb" sign - too eager to clean the room?! The internet-charge is much too exorbitant (50,000IRP) in proportion to the fact that it is slow and in a very small room with not enough privacy. Hotel room can do with a bit of facelift.
Nice resort. It is about 20 years old, but they do a good renovation. Beautiful architecture: wonderful reception - nice bedroom. Nice garden and clean beach. Close to the airport. The airport is open 24 h a day! Old air condition. Most people did not use the retaurant. It is expensive in comparison to the restaurants outside on the beach.

Everything was perfect! the staff was very friendly and tried to make your holiday as good as possible.All the time smiling and willing to satisfy your needs. The location is very good because:- very close to the sea (you have to cross a chain of restaurants but this is no problem); - the seafood restaurants across the parking lot are faboulos. I recomend the one right in front of the Vilas - logo with blue color - I forgot its name! Also the place is very quiet and you can really enjoy relaxing time at your own pool. All the time staff needed to come and clean the rooms were calling before in order not to disturb you. This hotel was the best experience ever! Hardly can be called as something I did not like was the fact that the breakfast is not so varied...but when you have everything else there - it does not even count

The villa we stayed (from the 2nd night onwards) is private and peaceful. Liked the private jacuzzi. On the first night we we given a room next to the public roads. It was noisy right into the middle of the night. Beach is not easily accesible as we have to walk through restaurants with excessive smoke coming from seafood grill.
The villa is well situated near a beautiful beach. Inside Villa is beautiful and luxury. Good for privite settings. The website picture is misleading. The villa is not on the beach. The chairs on beach are outside villa boundary. It is not very comfortable. Since Villa is right in front of many seafood resturants, the air can be very smokey. There is big parking lot right in frond of villa, noisy.
Private swimming pool was very nice. In total the villa was nice: two rooms + bathroom +small garden with gazebo. Free wi-fi in the restoran light in the bedroom was poor... you are not able to read a book before sleeping.. also in the bathroom. If they will have a special room for massage and spa - will be great.. Also wi-fi in villa. In the restoran should be more wide menu for drinks.. Now if you was to dring whiskey you should get the whole bottle
suitable location if you just want to unwind at the beach (1 minute walk) or relax in the private pool. very friendly and helpful staff. located right next to the jimbaran seafood restaurants on the beach. the sunsets are not to be missed. may be a little out of the way if you want the busy shopping and clubbing areas of Bali. more options at breakfast would help as we were there for 5 days and only had a choice of american or indonesian breakfast.

Transportation from hotel to the beach was not flexible, was raining and must wait until beach car came? Since it takes only 2 minutes from the hotel, due to the weather, the car should be flexible to pick up guest anytime when needed.
The rooms were very modern and roomy. AC worked very well. Food was average and pricey. Breakfast buffet was comparable to 2 star hotel in Vegas. Private beach was small, nothing to do except soak in the ocean and get a tan.

The location of the hotel. The stuff is not that all helpful. I waited for over two hours for check-in and from their response, it seems it was pretty normal to them which is a bit hard to accept.
We've got an upgrade to better room for free. Studio room was really big. Big choice for breakfast buffet. Very bad smell from the air con. It couldn't happen in new 4 star hotel. Beach chair selection can be not enough during high season.

Typical hotel from worldwide hotel network: rooms, food, service are standardized. In general price/quality is good, but you will not find there any special Balineese features. For our purposes (last night before departure after a 2-week trip through Bali by rented car) it was a good option, but I will not advise to stay there if this the only hotel on Bali in your journey - you can loose a lot of local specifics.

La piscina al borde del mar es increible, las habitaciones grandes y cuidadas, y la hospitalidad y servicio de "lujo asiatico" El desayuno es muy caro para lo que ofrece, y cualquier consumición dentro del hotel es demasiado cara para la zona. El spa es tremendamente caro, cuando por la zona hay otros muy buenos que valen una decima parte.
Es un precioso hotel con unas vistas fantasticas sobre un acantilado, varios restaurantes, bares, un spa maravilloso, playa privada, jardines muy cuidados, personal impecable...Volveria encantada. Esta algo aislado. Los restaurantes son caros. Las habitaciones ocean view tienen el mar bastante lejos.

Aston Bali is a reasonable hotel on a now rather overpriced island. The standards of accommodation have really gone up over the last 10 years, but then, so has the price. Keep your expectations low and you will be content. The pool is quite large and seems to be clean. There always seemed to be a sufficient number of deckchairs available. Breakfast was quite good albeit monotonous after a few days. There is a gym but we did not use it. The rooms are quite large and all seem to have balconies. Air conditioning worked well and the televisions are decent sized LCD. Rooms came with mosquito repellent bats but we did not find these particularly effective as we were still eaten to death on two occasions. Wear bug spray to bed! Aston has a dubious process for processing credit card statements. Upon arrival we were asked to write our credit card details on a piece of paper. A scan of the card was also taken. Unfortunately, Aston seem to have some less than trustworthy staff as by the end of our stay, our credit card had been canceled by the bank due to the appearance of $900 in online gambling charges. The card had not been used except for this hotel booking so it is safe to say the details were taken from the hotel and used fraudulently. Recording the card insecurely is unprofessional and the hotel should improve this process. Losing a card while traveling can completely ruin a perfectly good holiday! Additionally, bathrooms could be kept cleaner.
The staff were very friendly and the whole experience was relaxing and a great pamper! Some of the guests should learn how to be civil to the staff. The French were particularaly rude.
We thought it was a great location, the prices for drinks & dinners were too expensive compared to outside restaurants. Happy hour was not what was expected, not really discounted, our shower was not cleaned the whole time we were there, which was dissapointing. Activities were not advertised clearly within the hotel to express your options as to what was available to you.

I stay alone in a seaview room, but in reality many palm leaves hide the sea. It is a spacious room with LCD TV and a good shower plus whirpool. This is quite expensive rate for such kind of room

The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable beds.My Spa treatment was very good and very reasonable. The a la carte restuarant was very disappointing. We did not return after the first meal there. The hot water was only tepid all of the time. We noticed maintenance works going on but parts of the hotel did appear to be tired looking.
none, the staff was rude. They didnot honer my reservation. I was given what was there which was very low class very dirty. The towles were black from so many uses. incsects were every where. I had to put my shose on top shelve to make sure nothing gets in it. I had to leave
I've heard a lot of positive review about Westin Nusa Dua, and now I know why. From the time you walked in, the staff will make you feel that you are the special guest. They were warm and hospitable. The idea of making the kids also a special guest made this hotel my prime destination for family vacation. The hotel it self was superb: the grand lobby, main pool, the beach, kids pool, kids club, sun loungers and cocoon everywhere, sport facilities etc. The room was good. It has a modern and destinctive design, although the balcony was too small. The buffet breakfast was great. Lots of varied food. The were two downsides I would say for this hotel ie.the depth of the pool. I mean, who wants the pool with more than two meters deep for leisure purpose? The other one was the kids activity program at the kids club. They set different activity in the different day. We were there on Saturday, but my son couldn't get the rock climbing and fishing activity because they were on the other day. Saw...
Good hotel. Royal Beach club is a good offer, but subject to ''hard sell'' from reception desk. Rooms are OK, not that big. Note: no Kingsize bed room with bath (shower only!).Excellent service. Food is good.
This hotel is not a resort hotel it is very old with paint peeling off everything fron the walls to the outdoor furniture,Goodway is a hotel that caters for the Indonesian market, all Indonesian food served at breakfast ,some rooms open to streets like old motel style and domestic tourists can park outside their rooms, Unfortunately there is nothing good i can say about this hotel
The bellhop service was excellent and they were very patient. We were told that there would be an airport transfer, but when we arrived at the airport, there were no indication of the airport transfer. Staff did not hold up a board to welcome and aid passengers. Plus, the receptionist was not very helpful. And the breakfast was mediocre.

We liked the fact that airport transport is free as well as shuttle anywhere in Nusa Dua area. Best of all the room is very spacious, comfortable & clean and the views are excellent. Very good place to relax, reflect & unwind after a long day's seminar. There is free wifi in the lobby & restaurant but no signal inside our rooms.
The cleanliness od the room and the politeness of the people which is normal in the balinese culture. The service standard in terms of the amenities leaves poor.
It was quiet & not many guest , What I like the most was they provide hotel transfer . I don't like the breakfast was cold when they bring to the table & the waiter smelled !
The hotel is value for money. The room is clean, awesome pool perched on edge of the hill with a nice view. Staff was always helpful and accommodating during business hrs. breakfast was delivered to pool side, room, pretty much anywhere in the hotel. They will pick you up from airport and provide free driver service and drop you off/pickup at anywhere within Nusa Dua. The hotel is a testing/training ground for STP hospitality training school hence service can sometimes be a little spotty, lack professionalism or uncertain about hotel SOP. We encountered crawlers (huge furry spider, huge roach, huge bugs) in our bathroom - almost 1 new insect each day - however staff was able to help with getting rid of it. Their king bed was originally two singles put together - we complained and got a proper room with the proper king bed. There is a lot of construction for expansion going on it can get noisy during the day. The location is not convenient for walking to points of interests (its in the middle of nowhere) however ok if you are renting a car/driver for the day.
