The hotel was quiet and pleasantly situated, convenient for Honfleur...It had no personality but was on the whole a pleasant place to stay. The furnishings and decor in the bedrooms would benefit from modernization and the stairs and halways need better lighting
This was an overnight stop on our way to Northern Brittany. As such it was an excellent choice with a good restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. It is impossible to answer the "classification" question above but there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.
we have stopped here now 3 times over a 10 year period we were wowed on every occassion, just superb NONE
Excellent food, excellent staff. Our room with lounge area quiet with lovely outlook. Would have been nice to have a shower as well as bath.
Room quite small and smelt of smoke (despite requesting a non-smoking room). Breakfast overpriced at 9 euros.
The hotel is old and not keept with proper maintenance.
the location it was hard to find because the signage was poor in Trouville. We had not stayed at a "Latitudes" hotel before and didn't know it was marked as "Beach Hotel"
Location and heated pool Strange odor in room
The hotel is fairly basic but clean and very well situated. It could do with a bit oof paint in the public areas.
Great location, 50 meters from the beach, a lot of cafes around. Very helpfull and friendly staff.
Room lay out and view Poor breakfast arrangement. A meet and greet would be better.
Sea-view room attractive; position next to the Casino excellent . Helpful staff. Superb location for soaking up the atmosphere of the great painters who came to Trouville - Monet, Dufy etc. Indoor pool was good but needs covered access from hotel.
The boats the entourage the beds
View from the room. Interior colour scheme.
Had a nice view of the water There was no m ention onthe booking that we needed to pre book a car park space
Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it to others. The only thing we didn't like was the cost of the breakfast. It wasn't worth 17 Euros each.
Their cancellation policy as I had to cancel a return visit because of flu. No compassion at a time of anxiety.
Very helpful in changing room to one on ground floor. Good food. Exceptionally good bathroom with our room. Pleasant aspect. Friendly.
Very calm and senior people is everywhere. This hotel written "DOG FRIENDLY", in fact they accept the dog, but they are NOT welcoming the dog, even though dog friendly is only interesting in me,...
A beautiful medieval hotel. Sympathetically refurbished to its original state. Reception staff very helpful and spoke good English. Food of high standard and worthy of a luxury hotel. Location overlooked the Estuary and the view across was of the oil refinery. Too far out of Honfleur for walking when only staying for one night.
We visited Honfleur and it was easy to come there and park in the city. We only slept and had breakfast. That was excellent. no
Location, restuarant, staff friendly and helpful, rooms good and well appointed and parking free. easy access and close to Honfleur centre No bar so after a long drive had to wait to gey abeer with my meal
Close to my appointment venue
Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Good food served in the restaurant.
Nothing Room size awful, not much bigger than a prison cell and three beds packed into it.Breakfast area too confined and for 6,50 euros for cheese-marmalade and bread a rip off,but hence I suppose you get what you pay for.
The position. A little run down.
The breakfast was excellent (price 9 Euros) This is not a hotel, it's a motel. In other words, the bedroom door and window gives direct access to the "garden" or the parking lot. We booked a triple room for 3 adults but received a small twin room. After complaining we were told that there was a third small bed that had to be retrieved from under the other two beds. The room was not large enough to hold 3 beds so the third bed blocked the whole room. The twin beds were based on clean comforter but the third bed had an old blanket and was far from attractive to spend a night in. The amenities and towels were only provisioned for 2 persons. We also booked an additional double room and the bathroom wall was sticky and dirty.
Friendly helpful staff. On site restaurant.
beautiful location and very peaceful, value for money limited choice of menu
The room was good and the hotel was clean and nicely decorated The staff were not helpful, nor could they book us into the restaurant or treatments in the Spa despite booking a superior room for 2 nights.
Overall high quality for a 3 star. Restaurant choice too limited.
The room. No porter to help woth baggage
The room was nice, large and comfortable. The hotel is situated in calm place. The parking area is large. Wi-fi free of charge. You have to understand that for all activities, restaurants, beach you will go to Deauville or to Honfleur. It's better to have a car or pay to taxi 25-30 Euro in one side.
location staff rather unhelpful almost rude
Location, position, ambience, service Absolutely nothing - couldn't fault the service, accommodation or the food
Beautifully appointed hotel. Lovely decor and service excellent. Not able to have a bath as the bath plug did not work. In the hotel bar the spirits were greatly overpriced, particularly brandy.
Very roomy and clean and lovely Bathroom Nothing to dislike
Indoor pool We were not told restaurant has to be booked in advance, which meant that we had to eat out, two of our three nights at the hotel!
The gardens, peaceful, relaxing.Proximity to Honfleur,Deauville.Breakfast very good.Lovely looking auberge. Room very basic.British TV didn't work.Dinner set menu and expensive. Can't get a meal unless you book. No tea or coffee in bedroom.
Very stylish and big room with great bathroom. Very good breakfast. Big garden with small ponds and fountains - fantastic place for relaxation.
Friendliness of staff. very nice garden. No choice of Menu for Dinner. Bathroom rather small.
Staff, comfort, food
The location was lovely the hotel was rustic but smart. Staff helpful and my dog was welcomed. Lovely walks and the area was super.
Pleasant surroundings and lovely garden with stream and ponds. Hotel was rustic and recently renovated and was in good condition. Our room was so small . no space even for a bedside table. Resteraunt doesn't have enough space to accomodate all guests for dinner so we didn't eat there.
We made to feel at home in beautiful surroundings.
Magnificent, stylish hotel. All in a country house. Very nice, cozy and cute. Excellent facilities. 10 minutes drive to Honfleur.
Clean hotel in a nice setting No choice evening meals , breakfast poor , no lounge / no bar to relax in
Very nice scenery and relaxing atmosphere NO
Aparcamiento gratuito. Tranquilo y relajante.Sencillo pero decorado con gusto. Personal muy amable y servicial. Buena relación calidad/precio.
Superb location in the centre of the historical and artist quarter. Friendly service., Excellent breakfast,- very good value for the money. The restaurant offers superb cuisine and service. The beds were a bit hard - I have had better in France. It would not stop me from returning to this hotel next time I am in Honfleur.
The hotel room was the main plus point and their facilities were both modern and spotlessly clean. We did use the restaurant and found that the food, wine and service were impecable. Nothing was unpleasant or unacceptable.
Superb hotel on a perfect location. Centuries old building tastefully refurbished, luxurious room with a jacuzzi and a view on the harbor. Parking is 2mins walk away. Hotel located in the center of Honfleur near dozens of restaurants. Breakfast was to a high standard and overall excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Could not find a fault
We had a lovely room and the restaurant was very good - excellent wine list (if that's your thing). I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to friends. Only slight niggle was that there were no tea and coffee making facilities and the breakfast was served in a different building (only a short walk), but it was not possible to get a cup of coffee in the room
Really comfortable room, lovely view
This hotel was very luxurious and had an associated restaraunt that was superb. Pricey but in this case you get what you pay for!
The hotel was well positioned in the charming town of Honfleur with most attractions being within a short walk but being away from any noise or disturbances.
The breakfast pastries were very good. Our room was well appointed and spacious . Our 2 rooms happened to be in 2 different buildings,we managed fine .
Great! Everyone was so friendly and helpfull. Will stay here the next time we are in the area. The restaurant was exceptional with everything. this was the first time we have stayed in the area and we loved everything about it. Keep up the good work.
The hotel is in an excellent position in Honfleur, near restaurants and sights and overlooking the harbour. The room, although small, was beautifully appointed and the bathroom modern and well fitted, including a jacuzzi bath. The breakfast was excellent. It is all quite low key without a permanent receptionist but works very well and staff are pleasant and helpful. We were concerned about parking from other reviews but in fact once we had dropped off our bags it was easy to find their locked parking garage about five to ten minutes walk away. You won't get parking and the excellent waterfront position together so this seemed an excellent compromise.
