Helpful staff Terrible value for the money. Nothing remarkable about the hotel at all. I have stayed in nicer rooms at MUCH less expensive hotels. I don't understand why the rate was so very high. Nothing special at all.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! The location is amazing for walking by the river, shopping, and dining! I love staying at the Waterway Marriott because everything is accessible in just a short walk.
The updated, modern design of the rooms was nice and made the room feel higher class. The area was also very convenient. Would be good for a business trip. Sheets were soiled on arrival. We called to ask for new ones but received nothing. We called back 20 minutes later and were told we had to go get them ourselves, only to go back up to the room and discover they were the wrong size. House keeping came once during the 4 day stay and all they did was make the bed, despite asking the front desk to make a note for our room to change the sheets out. We also ended up running out of toilet paper due to this. Also, our bathroom door wouldn't shut without brute force, and one of the lamps straight up didn't have a light bulb in it. Also very easy to hear what was going on outside of the room.
Great room rate, liked the fridge/microwave to save leftovers, close to the airport and 24 hour shuttle service. Newly remodeled was nice too.
Location is convenient, very close to the airport; room seems to be newly renovated; decent size 1) No sound proof in hotel rooms - can hear the traffic noise very easily; 2) so called "hot breakfast" is very simple, nothing tasty. We had to get our breakfast somewhere else because it was so uninteresting.
Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. N/A
Great room design, with plenty of usable space. Good breakfast. Noisy a/c in room.
Room was clean and very comfortable - from the arrangement, the furniture, the amenities to the quality of the bedding. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The cafe seating was comfortable and spacious with big windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery. it was all good.
Location was the best for everything on our agenda. Everything!!!!

Check in was fast and easy.Key cards easy to use getting in the door with hands full. Plenty of towels in the bath. Love the soft white bed spread. Smokers sitting on the bench by the front entry.
Size of room, very clean
Fairly new, clean, great staff and good breakfast included.
It was nice
For the most part the staff was friendly and helpful. Only the night manager appeared to be having a bad day. As others have stated, road noise is a BIG problem in rooms facing the freeway (the road surface is grooved and traffic is EXTREMELY loud). I requested to be relocated to a room at the rear if the hotel.). Easy access to freeway and restaurants.

I will stay here everytime!!! Excellent customer service and very clean!!
I liked everything, from the room to the employees to the breakfast. Nothing!
My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is located on the south side of the Woodlands. Due to the Ironman competition, traffic made it impossible to navigate back and forth from the heart of the city, where I was working, to the hotel for some pre-planned breaks.
Cleanliness, friendliness and good breakfast No
Nos gustó mucho.
Bonito lugar Mi habitación no estaba lista cuando llegué. Esperé 30 minutos.
El personal era amable. Bar en el segundo piso estaba bien. Conveniente para fines de aeropuerto. La habitación olía a viejo y mohoso. Ropa de cama tenía forman manchas.
My son had a good time... But, he is two and has a good time at the Best Westerns and Holiday Inns when we're on road trips, too. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is definitely nice, but the lazy river is very short and neither alone are nice enough to warrant a trip to the resort. It was not what I expected for the price. The restaurants are expensive and the food by the pool was not very good at all. I ordered at the bar near the pool because a waitress did not come by quick enough. After tipping $10 (because our total for two appetizers, a kid's meal, and one beer was $50), the man working told me that since I had ordered there, I would need to come pick up the order in about 10-15 minutes instead of them bringing it to me. The staff was friendly, but not $250/night kind of service. If you're in the woodlands for something, and have the money for this place, I would give this place a shot, but I would not go out of my way to stay here otherwise.
It is an easy drive from Houston and close to all the sites in the Woodlands. But, with great rooms, golf, tennis, a spa and multiple restaurants you would never have to leave the resort. We cannot wait until we can come back
It's new. It has huge rooms and a nice stand up shower. Location is a little awkward to get to, and if you pass it accidentally it is a pain to turn around and get back to it.
Everything! Well if you could have changed the weather that would have helped!! LOL
Cordial staff and excellent accommodations. Prefer locking option on lavatory and shower doors.
Loved our stay! The outdoor fire was so cozy, the hot tub relaxing and the room was splendid
The rooms are well appointed and of great layout.
The rooms are very nice . The staff : valet , the doorman, and Shannon at front desk was very nice and courteous . We will be back!
Located in the middle of great shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. Beautiful room and view. Hot tub hours too short in the evening.
I liked that's when I arrived the staff in the front office were very nice and friendly. The rooms were a decent size for the price. The king size bed was super comfy. The rooms were nice and clean for when we arrived even the air was on to cool off the room. I thought this to be thought of them since I did check in at a hotter part of the day. I didn't like that they had no elevator which was a trip if you were on the 3rd floor. Their breakfast was decent, just wish it had a little more to it.
Oh, for heavens sake -I nearly didn't book this hotel because of all the negative reviews, but I am so glad I DID stay here. Honestly, folks. What were you expecting, the Hyatt?! It's a Super 8! And it was quite a nice one, at that (having stayed at quite a few and equivalent motels in the past.) The room was well appointed, adequately furnished and bedded, clean and I felt safe walking about. There's a little pub next door so my colleague and I were able to grab some food and a drink after a long work day before turning in. The continental breakfast had waffle makers -always fun- and though it wasn't a full spread, it was what you'd expect for a Super 8 (or equivalent) breakfast. All in all, if you're looking for budget without staying somewhere that scares you, this is the place to stay. Thumbs up. Would have loved a tad more variety for the breakfast, but it did have the best red delicious apples I've had (and usually those are quite unpalatable.)
It was convenient to Cypress Drive, where my cousin lives. It was convenient to the Cypress Drive area where my cousin lives. The breakfast was always out at a good time and had a good choices. The staff was always helpful. We arrived a day early and they were able to accommodate us. We were able to stay in the same room all the time. The room was dark. It wasn't much bigger than the bed. The towels were small.
