Desventajas: Esta es la segunda vez que me alojo en el Hotel Amigo y estoy convencido de que este será mi hotel en Bruselas. Hasta la próxima vez Hotel Amigo!!

Ventajas: El personal de recepción era maravilloso, las habitaciones eran muy cómodas.

Desventajas: Servicio horrible en el restaurante (posiblemente a que había solo una mujer). La habitación estaba muy mal aislada y había mucho ruido durante toda la noche.

Ventajas: Beautiful property that is immaculate and classically decorated.

Ventajas: Comodidad y limpieza de las habitaciones, amabilidad y disposición de las personas que trabajan en el hotel y ubicación!

Desventajas: Nada

Ventajas: La ubicación no podría decirse perfecta, sino más bien EXCELENTE. A escasos metros de los uno de los accesos a la plaza principal. Luego de ahí caminando a todos los puntos de interes. El personal, desde el valet parking, hasta la recepcionista y todo el personal, increiblemente de muy buena disposición para resolver cualquier duda.

Desventajas: Nada por reprochar.

Ventajas: The hotel is very upscale and extremely classy hotel. The professional staff went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. The concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The location can not be beat. We were just around the corner from Grand Place.

Ventajas: Absolutely beautiful hotel and the attention to details was amazing. The turn down service, the assistance in getting around Brussels and just the atmosphere. It is honestly worth every cent, so close to everything and such a great room

Ventajas: location was good.

Desventajas: The bar staff very rude,and continued to talk while leaving us standing at the bar.This happened on two nights. This hotel should send its bar staff to its sister hotel in Rome where the staff were fabulous.

Ventajas: Todo en general, buena situación, muy tranquilo, cerca de los puntos turísticos destacados, barrio de calidad, muchos restaurantes cercanos, en resumen una buena elección. Un poco caro

Desventajas: La oferta del desayuno, súper caro 29,80 €, una barbaridad, he estado en hoteles de 5 * de gran lujo y no he pagado más de 25 €, solución un bar al lado que por 11 € solucionas el problema.

Ventajas: Upon arrival, my room got upgraded. I stayed in a fantastic, huge room which was beautifully designed and decorated. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is very nice, with great views of the Sablon church an the Palais de justice. Main sights are within walking distance. Great choice.

Desventajas: Too expensive for what it offers

Ventajas: wooden floors in the age of carpets, windows can be opened which is so enjoyable during summer time.

Desventajas: The receptionis was make me very angry, while he promise that he will arrange to prepare early breakfast (at 4:30) in the morning, but unfortunately I didn't get this breakfast even if I paid it already. Very unprofessional for this hotel chain.

Desventajas: Unusual fussiness by bar/restaurant manager about having a glass of wine in the bar/restaurant. Made to feel ‘privileged’ to be allowed to sit at high table in this area.

Ventajas: Good quality hotel situated near the city center 10 min. walk. Excellent breakfast.

Ventajas: Generally a nice quiet neighbourhood. When we had a problem with check-in, this was resolved to our satisfaction.

Desventajas: A larger room would not have been a bad thing, although we could cope with the room size that we had. Location slightly awkward for public transport.

Ventajas: Disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra estancia de tres noches en el Stanhope. Era una ubicación conveniente para caminar a Bruselas, y aprovechar el tiempo allí. El personal era genial y complaciente con nuestras necesidades. Nos encantó nuestra habitación, que era espaciosa y estaba bien equipada.

Desventajas: Lo único semi negativo que puedo decir es que la cama era bastante blanda, lo que no fue bueno para alguien con dolor espalda como yo. Además, pedimos que se calentaran algunos alimentos, y dijeron que nos enviarían a alguien para que se ocupara de esto. Se olvidaron y tuvimos que llamar por segunda vez.

Ventajas: El detalle de las instalaciones del hotel tiene información incorrecta. Según el detalle cuando reservo habitación, Wifi está disponible con cargo adicional (6,95 por día). Sin embargo, no solo por el wifi, si no también por la conexión a internet (LAN) era necesario pagar tarifa adicional. Si hubiese sabido que la conexión LAN no estaba incluída en el costo de la habitación, no hubiese reservado este hotel. Esta es una información totalmente incorrecta.

Desventajas: El hotel debe revelar estos costes adicionales. Si lo hubiese sabido, nunca habría reservado este hotel.

Ventajas: I love it but a little too expensive. I hope to stay again soon

Ventajas: Make your own Belgian waffles at breakfast -- hard to beat. Hotel with character and history, but with modern amenities and upgrades. Location second to none for EU business.

Desventajas: Old school fitness room. Good for a jogger or biker, not so great for current fitness trends, with little space to do a workout. No complimentary water, and drinking a bottle of still water from your room's fridge will cost you EUR 5.

Ventajas: Suite had recently been refurbished and included excellent facilities. It was a quieter room overlooking the rear of the hotel which I prefer. Staff at check in and out are always friendly, welcoming me back and efficient.

Desventajas: My usual complaint is the cost of the breakfast, hence I take breakfast outside the hotel.

Ventajas: The staff were nice and kind. Breakfast was really too good to stop eating, that was why many guests tend to stay long, maybe.

Desventajas: Using a cab or public transport is recommended for city trotters. Grand place was in walking distance "horizontally", but it's a bit too hard to walk up through the hilly area to the hotel.

Ventajas: Location: Excellent. Close to the Luxembourg train/Bus station. Staff: Outstanding, courteous, extremely helpful, friendly. Hotel: Exceeding my expectations. Quiet. The lounge, lobby, courtyard were very nice and comfortable to sit and relax and have a conversation and/or beverage. Great Job Thon Hotels!

Ventajas: Habitación muy limpia. Baño pequeño pero muy bien. Muy bien situado y staff muy amable. Hotel recomendable.

Desventajas: No hay armario ni lugar cómodo para dejar las maletas y la cama parece que tenga algún plástico en el colchón y es un poco desagradable.

Ventajas: La habitación estaba muy bien, limpia y cómoda. El desayuno era caro pero muy completo. La parada de metro está prácticamente en la puerta del hotel. Todo muy bien para pasar un fin de semana en Bruselas.

Desventajas: El wifi de la habitación no funcionaba del todo bien. Llamamos a recepción y nos dijeron que fueron a arreglarlo, pero seguía con la misma poca señal. No es del todo céntrico, pero en 3 paradas de metro llegas.

Ventajas: Buen espacio, pantalla de 42’ muchísima luz natural, buen baño, pero muy caro demasiado. La próxima Vez buscaré algo más ajustado

Ventajas: We stayed for one night, although it was a short distance away from all the tourist attractions, we found it only a short walk and ideally located near to a metro station. Breakfast was wonderful with varied amount of food available. It was the weekend and the hotel was quiet, which was ideal for us.

Ventajas: La ubicación es muy buena, a pocas calles de la Estación Central donde puedes tomar el tren que te lleva desde y hacia el aeropuerto, el desayuno es bueno y las habitaciones son confortables, las instalaciones en general son sobrias, bonitas, limpias y organizadas.

Ventajas: Excellent location, very comfy and clean room, very good air conditioning options in the room, free coffee and tea, gym has everything you need and is properly equipped. Perfectly silent for the location

Desventajas: The view was into an offive building max 5 meters across from the hotel and you have to always keep the curtains closed if you want any privacy

Desventajas: te cobran una garantía de 50 euros cuando llegas por si "ocupas algo del mini bar de la habitación". La verdad lo encuentro francamente absurdo. (ojo que al hacer el check out nadie reviso si ocupe o no el mini bar) Al otro día no me querían devolver la garantía porque la persona que me recibió no me entregó ningún papel. Luego de un rato de discusión, me devuelven 45 y picos de euro ya que que tenía que retener un supuesto "impuesto" que se hace en la ciudad. Rarisimo todo. Esa experiencia al menos muy desagradable.

Ventajas: El baño, muy espacioso y con todo lo necesario para una buena accesibilidad.

Desventajas: La habitación estaba justo enfrente de unas oficinas, muy pegado. Por lo que la privacidad era nula. Sobre todo en el baño, con un gran ventanal con 3 metros de distancia entre tu ducha y sus ordenadores. Comentar también que nos levantábamos muy temprano y volvimos a las 15:00 a descansar, y la habitación todavía no había sido limpiada. No es muy grave pero el hotel no es tan grande. Y por último, dos noches por 428€… lo único reseñable es lo cerca que está de la Grand Place y de la estación central.

Ventajas: Staff went to great lengths to make our stay special. Parking garage, as the new (August ‘19) parking meters in the street do not accept foreign bank cards.

Desventajas: We chose the hotel for its restaurant, only to find out that it had minimal service during our stay. Fortunately, there is an excellent restaurant at 50 meters (Odette en Ville), reservation recommended.

Ventajas: The location, staff were friendly, coffe machine at room is amaizing, gym was quite good for this price.

Desventajas: Only concern, i didnt add breakfast as i thought 30 EUR is too much specilay during weekend as i can have nice breakfast outisde hotel for same or less.

Desventajas: I just spent one night in this hotel and I was on my own. I have been leaving in Brussels for over 20 years and I've passed by this hotel hundreds times but never stayed there so this time I decided to book a night at Le Chatelain. I know it's a 5 stars hotel so I was expecting a 5 stars room. It was a tiny one (which wouldn't have bothered me eventually) located on the 3rd floor and the view from the window was awful a depressing (a dirty grey wall at short distance). See picture attached. I cannot stand air conditioning so I switched it off but a kind of fan noise was still there...and it stayed with me all night, I could hardly sleep a couple of hours. No way to turn it off! I guess it was the bathroom ventilation. The bathroom was also tiny and the pullout shower head located in the bathtub didn't stay properly in place-straight-so I had to hold it in my hands while showering to avoid water going all over the bathroom. I had one nail broken and was looking for a nail file but there wasn't any. No body lotion either! The bathroom bin didn't open with the pedal so I had to open it manually. I always appreciate a chamomile tea or tisane before sleeping but the coffee station only contained 2 teabags, no caffeine-free infusion at all. In a 5 stars hotel you should not experience all this so I was extremely disappointed and won't return to Le Chatelain.

Ventajas: Location, cleanliness and overall it is a good hotel. l

Desventajas: acks charging USB ports in room. Light over the bad tub/shower could add to the qulaity of experience. Some staff seem to still be in training. Some mistakes wth orders at lounge: forgot some things nad/or did not listen carefully and so the order never came. A little pricey, in my opinion. Male manager at lounge on Tuesday evening around 10pm was not very engaging, a little short in his replies to questions and did not smile.

Ventajas: The location was perfect. The view from rooms is also really nice.

Desventajas: The same breakfast everyday. Maybe they can have two menus and alternate each and other day. Last night I moved to 1308 and it was full of sounds from outside and inside. No idea how, but even the window was making sounds it seemed.

Desventajas: A female staff member was very grumpy with us when we asked her if we could have our shower gel replaced by housekeeping while we were out- she disappeared off without saying anything then came back and gave us two small bottles of a different brand to take up ourselves, instead of sending housekeeping as we'd requested. She then got annoyed when we said we were on our way out, so could she just send housekeeping up to do it? When we got back.... it hadn't been done, so we had to ask reception again. When we checked in on the Saturday evening, we were told by the check-in guy on reception that breakfast was until 12pm. We weren't warned that this was on Sundays only. We even responded "that's an amazing perk - is that every day? We have never been to a hotel that does it until so late before" and the check-in guy agreed. When we got to the breakfast room at 11:30am on the Monday morning, the breakfast stuff had long gone, and we were told by staff that breakfast was only until 10:30am on weekdays. So we missed breakfast that day! Not great service from the check-in guy, considering the price we had paid for the room, you expect breakfast, and not to be misinformed!

Ventajas: Bed really comfy and all the facilities worked really well, e.g. lifts. Very clean and very friendly.

Desventajas: Didn’t have any issues or concerns. Everything was spot on.

Ventajas: Complementary drinks, remote controlled lights and blinds were a nice to have. Location was decent, nice park behind the hotel

Desventajas: The staff were incredibly rude, the facilities were unavailable, took 3 days to get television fixed, the hotel smells like wet dog, especially the lobby, one of the lamps in the room was damaged on arrival, there were black marks all over the door, when TV was finally fixed it stopped working once it was turned off, the rooms were definitely not sound proof, lots of noise from neighbouring rooms, lots of noise from street outside despite being 9 floors up. Lots of little details missed.

Ventajas: The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a glass ceiling letting us enjoying the garden outside for a natural and calming feel. Just the best way to start the day, with a fresh and tasty breakfast.

Ventajas: Great bed. Nice view (12th floor). Staff. Clean facilities.

Desventajas: Signs outside the main entrance prohibit smoking in 10 meters distance. The ban is not enforced so guests oftentimes have to walk through a screen of smoke (which is discusting).

Ventajas: The rooms are Nice . Very clean. Everything you need .

Desventajas: The breakfast was poor. The buffet was not good . The lounge was basic and nothing special. The staff is correct but not friendly

Desventajas: La conexión wi-fi en el hotel no conectaba con mi teléfono. El hotel está situado en un barrio muy de moda, pero con opciones limitadas para comer. Lo que es más importante, el hotel no proporciona servicio de transporte al aeropuerto, este fue el principal motivo por el que reservé con ellos. Ningún hotel que no puede llamar un taxi para que te lleve al aeropuerto (a tu propio costo) puede considerarse como ofreciendo transporte al aeropuerto.

Desventajas: The elevators were half broken and we couldn’t get a good signal on any of the tv channels. When we went to aspire for a spa time they didn’t tell us they had water gymnastics on, which really ruined an hour of our stay at the spa. They should have informed us about It beforehand.

Ventajas: I love everything to be honest, This place is my escape place I often go back to this hotel because of the staff and the facilities and the rooms are just exceptional. the staff makes you feel like royalties I love that ! I will keep coming back as often as I can ;-)

Desventajas: I can't say there is anything I didn't like. everything is just too perfect. But I wish that we could have a discount card for people that comes this often.

Desventajas: I had gone over for an operation and had booked and pairs for a car service that I was told the hotel would sort out. When I asked for this serious they told me there was no cars and shrugged his shoulders. And I was left to walk to to euro star which wasn’t to far but after having the op was left in a lot of pain. Apart from this the hotel was nice. And the other staff where more than helpful.

Ventajas: Excellent in every respect.

Ventajas: Superb hotel situated in the Arabic area of town, 15 minutes walk from all the tourist area. Staff were fabulous, speaking 5 languages that I could pick up. Secure underground parking under the hotel. Breakfast was everything and a bit more. Delicious.

Desventajas: Nothing

Ventajas: Just a short walk from the Eurostar train station. Despite arriving after midnight, I managed to get a good night's sleep before an early start the following day.

Ventajas: Location is excellent, in square with many restaurants and bars, but also very close to EU institutions in particular. Staff very attentive and efficient. Rooms a reasonable size. Breakfast good.

Desventajas: Shower located in bath rather than separate. Bed not very comfortable as too much padding over mattress and duvet too heavy in warm weather. No mini bar in room.

Ventajas: 1040 dinner was great although expensive as to be expected. The hotel offers a number of tolietries including a shaving kit. Bed was soft due to a foam insert. Allowed us to upgrade to luxury room. Offered luggage storage was our room was being readied. Soundproof. Great black out curtains.

Desventajas: Breakfast flavor/quality isn’t what you would expect for one hotel of this quality.

Desventajas: El hotel esta en obras. No tienen facilidad de acceso los taxis porque la calle y la plaza tambien esta en obras El gimnasio esta cerrado. Reservé hace meses y no recibi ningun correo avisando de esta circunstancia.

Ventajas: Prácticamente todo, el desayuno también todo salvo el café

Desventajas: La cama tenía edredón en el mes de julio es poco practico y el café del desayuno era malo

Desventajas: El hotel muestra el paso de los años. No es un lugar de vacaciones, se siente más como un lugar para conferencias de negocios.

Ventajas: Nos gustó todo. Desde el principio, el personal del hotel nos hicieron sentir súper cómodos a nuestra llegada y nos dieron grandes recomendaciones. El desayuno era impresionante, la ubicación inmejorable (10’ de la estación y menos aún de la Grand Place) y la habitación muy agradable, incluso siendo interior.

Desventajas: Nada, todo genial.

Ventajas: El excelente personal del hotel. La ubicación del hotel. Todo excelente. Hablan español. Y otros idiomas. Muy bueno el personal!

Desventajas: El olor a humo de cigarrillos en las almohadas: Repugnante. Pero el excelente personal del hotel enseguida nos asignó otra habitación apropiada.

Ventajas: Some members of the staff really tried to accommodate our needs. One of them seek out and found a yogurt at 10:00 in the evening for our little son. This has been really appreciated

Desventajas: Even though we mentioned the time of our arrival, our room was not ready. So we left our baggage and walked around the city returning in the evening. We go to our room and see that they have offered us a twin bed room, instead of a single double one, even though we have been very explicit on this in the time of booking. This was really important to us, since we intended to sleep our two years old son in the bed, and with a twin bed there is the danger to fall in between. We notified immediately the reception on this, and they told us that all rooms were occupied at the moment. So we asked for a baby cot. Indeed, they bring us one, but it was broken. Moreover, they did not bring a blanket for the baby cot, and when we asked for one they brought only the blanket, but no linen. The next day the management indeed apologised, and brought us a proper baby cot, but we had a difficult night already. In addition, the cleaning of the bathroom was not always perfect. Once the inside of the trash bin was left outside (even though I have to note that it was fortunately clean). The area of the hotel is quite near the centre, but after dark it becomes a little dangerous, not too much, but enough to be a little preoccupied, especially if you carry a a baby. Overall, we have been rather dissatisfied with our 3 nights stay there, especially given the price paid (more than 150€ per night). One would expect a much more professional job from a 4 star hotel. Some members of the staff were indeed genuinely hospitable, but other were just rude. The organisational problems that we have encountered were in my experience just unacceptable. Overall, I would recommend a different option. With that amount of money one can find something definitely better.

Ventajas: Excellent service. Approachable and kind staff.

Desventajas: I had to call the front desk for the breakfast form every night...and they give me what i asked but there were extra food like cheese cuts, fruits, nuts etc..that i didn't ask. Such a waste. Got disappointed for that since its a 4star hotel.

Ventajas: Ubicación es buena, cerca de las mejores tiendas. Centro de la ciudad está cerca andando, pero es una buena caminata. Habitación era espaciosa, las camas eran muy cómodas. Yo no aproveché el desayuno pero por los 13 euros que parecía una muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Desventajas: A pesar de haber pagado por una habitación para 3, nunca sábanas para el sofá-cama. De igual forma, no había suficientes toallas y no cabe duda de que no hay suficiente café por la mañana! Habitación era demasiado caliente a pesar se adapta el A/C a la restitución máxima. El extraño olor de azufre del cuarto de baño.

Desventajas: Price of breakfast instead of us going out for a really good breakfast for more than half the hotel price

Ventajas: Staff was above all helpful, accessible, attentive. A real professional team, from the kitchen to the front desk to cleaning crew. Location ended up being better than we thought, between the Grand Place in one direction and EU/Museum hub in the other. Easy 7 min walk to the metro.

Desventajas: No drawers! Staying for a week, we wanted to unpack into the closet and drawers. The bed-side tables could have had drawers, and it would have been easier to organize our belongings. We also wanted the room in the photo and thought we'd gotten that room, a combination of modern-old world European decor. We got just a typical, any-hotel styled room.

Ventajas: Great location, nice menu, very big and comfortable rooms

Ventajas: Very clean. Good Location. Nice welcome when we arrived to Check-In. Our Room was very nice. We used the restaurant one night...food was good but service was slow...we weren’t in a rush, so it was fine.

Desventajas: Everything was nice but the room Needs another waste basket near the desk...we had to keep going into the Bathroom and Shower Room to throw anything out. Also, in the Bathroom there was no place to hang the hand towel...there was a Small Hook to the right side but like under the sink... towel kept falling. We used the shelf instead - No Biggie.

Ventajas: La cama super comoda, fue como dormir en las nubes. Y teniá 3 a mi disposicion! El cuarto enorme, wifi gratis en todo el hotel, champu, gel de baño, crema corporal, gorro de ducha y hasta abrillantador de zapatos estaban disponibles en el cuarto

Ventajas: Great location. Very helpful staff at the front desk. They allowed an early check in. Flavored water and hot beverages at the reception was a nice touch.

Desventajas: There was some renovation work at the time we stayed, but it was not an issue.

Ventajas: The breakfast was by far the best breakfast I've had at any hotel. Lots of healthy options as well as a full cooked breakfast, cereals, continental, cured meats, breads and juices\smoothies. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for us. It was my partners brithday and not only did they give us a complimentary room upgrade and bar vouchers they also gave him a birthday card.

Desventajas: There was nothing I didn't like.

Desventajas: Bathrooms don't match the rest of the property design, clearly a hotel that has been taken over but not invested in too much.

Ventajas: El hotel está convenientemente ubicado cerca del aeropuerto de Bruselas. Me alojé una noche esperando mi vuelo. En general, es una propiedad bien mantenida con amplias habitaciones y un gimnasio muy agradable.

Desventajas: Me alojé un sábado por la noche. Resulta que el restaurante del hotel está cerrado los fines de semana. Tenía que ir al centro de Bruselas (30 minutos de trayecto) o pedir servicio de habitaciones. Opté por este último, que no era malo en absoluto, pero hubiera preferido comer en el restaurante. Los fines de semana tampoco hay servicio de traslado al aeropuerto. Si tienen un hotel del aeropuerto, deben proporcionar la lanzadera al aeropuerto 24/7.

Ventajas: We are a family of 5 (children 8, 6 and 9 months). Beautiful kept hotel with a very nice garden around it. the kids loved their breakfast. minutes drive to BRU airport. The hotel agreed that we will be all in one room - which was nice of them but a mistake on our behalf.

Desventajas: Parking costs 20 Euro per day! but there was no problem parking on the street for free.

Ventajas: Very nice hotel ; the family room was large and luxurious. Great buffet in the morning. Exceptional location close to the airport.

Ventajas: Stayed 5 nights with my wife and two kids aged 6 and 9. The staffs are very polite and always ready to help. The rooms are very tidy and the whole building is easy to navigate. The breakfast is excellent. Lots of varieties to chose from and the meal is delicious. Dinner is amazing throughout our stay. The cost if very reasonable and does not worth eating outside of the hotel for what you get. The restaurant staffs are very friendly, supportive and caters for all needs and ensure a relaxed atmosphere is maintained. Thanks to the two chefs...though we did not get to meet them, but the meals speaks of their professionalism.

Ventajas: Great location and staff. Easy travel from airport.

Ventajas: Crowne Plaza is situated very close to the airport, only minutes away. There is plenty of parking space available.

Desventajas: Parking is rather expensive, even if you only park your car for a couple of hours you have to pay the daily rate of 25 euros

Ventajas: desayuno tipo buffet muy bueno la ubicación es buena porque a 10 min andando llegas al tren que enlaza en 15 min con la estación central además tiene un autobus lanzadera gratis que te lleva y trae del aeropuerto al hotel y tiene servicio cada 20 min. confort del hotel es bueno al igual que el servicio del personal en resumen lo recomiendo tanto para trabajo como para visita

Ventajas: Very clean, nice staff

Desventajas: No warning that to park your car in their car park puts another 15 to 20% on your room rate. It’s a cheap trick and not appreciated

Desventajas: I had made a booking online and had made an error in the date. 10 minutes after the booking I called the hotel to ask them if they could move my reservation to the correct date, at a new tariff if applicable. They refused! So I lost the money. It goes without saying that for my new booking at the correct date, I opted for a different hotel. I really think it was very uncommercial from the hotel's end!

Ventajas: Location can't be beat. Restaurant was closed when we tried to use it due to a flight cancellation, we were turned away by the restaurant staff. Told they couldn't accommodate us, but the lounge could. Was frustrating as we were travelling with our son and didn't feel a lounge atmosphere would be appropriate. In morning, staff was already cleaning up buffet a good 45 minutes prior to end of service. I think the hotel itself is good, however the restaurant staff need some training in hospitality.
