Close to airport, staff were friendly but one day, i wanted to have our room serviced but I came back before the housekeeper get to our room and the tip was gone. The guests by our room was very noisy. I don't mind if it's before 12am but they were partying until 3 to probably 4 in the morning. I couldn't get a good night rest.

nothing Hotel room is dirty - bedclothes are dirty and have holes... Bathroom is not cleaned properly ( wall full of dirty stains, ceiling has mildew, towel handler has never been cleaned, bathtop is rusty etc...), 15 years old iron without water etc... i had dinner in their "Rotisserie" restaurant - same problem of cleanliness ( table cloth with stains : sauce? wine? ). I needed to wait 10 minutes to get my tea during breakfast. Internet very slow. this hotel is overpriced and shouldn't be referenced by booking.com ; so far, a very bad experience in this hotel. it doesn't worth the price ( it looks cheap but it's overpriced regarding service and cleanliness.. ). Even some 2 stars hotels are cleaner. if booking.com interested, i kept pictures.

The Hotel has a victorian feel of elegance, with a large ltiled floor lobby with soft furnishings. The wide tiled stairway leads to a firstfloor balcony overlooking a courtyard, this also has soft furnishings and a snooker table, plus a cage with two love birds in the corner. two coridors left and right lead to the rooms. there is also a top floor with more rooms. This was my second stay at the hotel and we were upgraded to a similar sized room with a kitchenette, however the room had a older although well maintained aircondition unit. Unfortunately mice were getting into the room. It was very noisy first thing in the morning from staff and guests alike. The room was right next to the stairs leading to the top floor and worse still opposite the linen supply cupboard were the staff would congregate talk and chat loudly early in the morning 5:00
I had a great overall experience. The only thing I didnt like was hidden cost,they ask me to pay way to much for breakfast buffet which was suppose to be include with the room. Since I didnt go directly through the free breakfast buffet didnt count I had to pay
I loved the amenities, the buffet, the pool, and the extremely courteous staff.
Top things about this hotel in order: Location (you cant find any better), Staff, The Bed, Bathroom, Minibar, Spa, The Cityview, and Security. The rates are too exaggerated, You can find other much cheaper hotels with similar qualities, nothing very special about it for such a price
The reason I bought this hotel is because it said free Wi-Fi when I got up to my room and I wanted to use the Wi-Fi they told me I would have to sit in the office for the Wi-Fi to be free or I could buy some expensive Internet package. There were no blankets on the bed whatsoever just a sheet that you could unfold and put on top of you and the air conditioning was not adequate the room was hot when I entered the room and it never cooled off not even a fan to circulate the air. The morning breakfast was fine they made me pay a 1000 pesos deposit on the key and would not return until they had someone fully inspect the room never been treated like that interesting place. The air conditioner was not adequate to cool the room down. The Internet is only free in the lobby and it didn't work. You have to buy an expensive Internet card to use the hotel room Internet and the bed was very uncomfortable with only a sheet.
The room is very quiet and I was able to sleep well. Everything else is ok.
Security is excellent. The staff didn't just allow people to get into the in. We stayed at the fourth floor and there was no elevator. It didn't really bother me though but if you have heavy luggages then that could be a big inconvenience. But one staff member was kind enough to carry them for us.
Location is central. Rooms are affordable and clean. You get what you pay for .... not so much Rooms are noisy, you can hear the neighbours cough in their sleep. Breakfast: fried egg looked and tasted like it had been fried the night before and brought up to room temperature with the microwave. No fridge in room. Airport shuttle is very expensive.

nice hotel in terms of the apartment that has everything one need ,quit and clean, near major shopping center and various restaurante. hotel entrance and general design is not suitable for familyes or desable person with trollys , to many stairs and the only access to the hotel is from the garage on back door which is dangours of cause of cars. also the breakfast was not that good and coffee taste like break oil

The location was excellent, easy access for taxis, and walking distance from main shopping complexe. Hotel staff where more than helpful and efficient at Check-in and Check-out. No complaints.
It's located by Greenvelt 1 which has everything you need re: stores, food, shopping. The room was spacious and nice. It was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly. The thing I didn't like was I had to pay for a half day for 1 hour. I was waiting for a ride and they came at 1pm, 12pm was checkout. l mentioned it to them just to see how they handle situations like that. They said,"sorry sir." They were polite but don't do anything. In fairness, it wasn't about the money, I would have liked to see something beyond words. I won't miss the 1200 pesos, I was just missing a good faith gesture. A voucher for free coffee would have at least showed an effort.
The space of the apartment was excelent... Front desk friendlyness might need to be improved.
The floors were extremely dirty. Always had to keep shoes on otherwise feet were black on bottoms. We were even in the penthouse suite where you would think they take more care.

Location Ascott could not locate my reservation even when given my confirmation number and booking agents number. Front desk did not know what to do, they wanted to charge me double my original paid reservation and credit my paid reservation when it came through.....WHAAAAAT! Very late and tired, no one offered to make it right, front desk seem to have attitude. I finally called Kayak and had them locate original reservation which was faxed to front desk. Front desk calls me to tell me they have fixed it and I clearly told them... I FIXED IT BY CALLING KAYAK...which is something they should've done in the first place!!!!!

The service and security level provided by the Ascott's was excellent and to 5 stars international standards. Honesty and responsiveness of front desk personnel is commendable. Bathroom furnishing needs to be enhanced in order to improve averall staying experince.
The location is near tourist attractions and the price is right for budget travelers The staff had an attitude. It was as if they wanted me to leave. The rooms are small. No safe in room. They required a deposit for some reason. I wouldn't stay here again. Better hotels for similar prices.
We liked the location, very convenient to atm, food, stores. But after dark there are homeless around. View out window was good. Room size was good. Buffet was best in restaurant. (See the bad parts of this review because they FAR outweigh the good). Bad: A/C was noisy and leaked on the floor, smelled of mildew, carpet was filthy & stained, shower burnt us, hot in elevators & lobby, welcome drink so small it's a joke, room service menu missing items advertised, they charge ALOT for free local

Location good, very close to Makati Avenue Breakfast too much Filipino, nothing suitable for international. When you check-in, they ask you to sign the in-print for guarantee, which is never done in other countries. And when you check-out, they ask you if you had something from the minibar, and after your negative answer, they tell you to sit down and wait until they receive the answer from the floor if you said the truth or if you're trying to cheat them. I told them that this is very impolite and that they should process the check-out immediately, because the reception can receive the result of the room-check in the meantime the check-out is being processed. But they seem not to understand.

I like the staffs, helpful and respectful. Pleasant and professional. Mon, is his name . The one that cleans my room, he's done superb job cleaning. But everyone is to me is A + if I have to grade it. I stayed there for 24 days and everyone is nice from Room cleaners, to the front desk, gym, restaurant, concierge, doorman/woman, bell boys. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. All awesome, pleasant attitude. The structure needs to be redone specially the bathroom. Needs to take care of ants infestation. Change in room carpet will help.
Heritage Hotel by the reception staff did not properly close the accounts of customers, as they make mistakes in calculating the costs of accommodation, repeat customer discount card through the credit to him, that he should repent the customer to stay with them.
Breakfast was always fun, many different selections available. The staff was excellent, always giving advice when asked. No ATM on site and casino no longer in operation.

Very basic room. Everything above a simple bed and bath was extra - a lot extra. Showering in the morning was difficult simply because the water would go from very cold to scolding hot every few seconds. Not nice when you have a 1 year old with you. I liked the initial price and how close it was to the airport.
I enjoyed the location of the hotel, the staff was friendly. The Internet was sketchy, I had to keep calling down for a password, sometimes every couple of minutes. More often than not the call to the hotel operator went unanswered.

Nice clean newer hotel! Like most hotels in Manila Area , they are starting to charge a premium like they are New York or Paris ect! It's still the Philippines but poeple are coming and paying these prices so I really can't blame them! I just don't see it, coming here the last 15yrs! the traffic is impossible, so plan on walking!
