the cost of this vehicle was ridiculous. 1 day $350 and when I asked what an additional 8 hours would be I was quoted an additional $300 dollars. Not going to use Avis again. Sorry.Opinión del 31 ene 2023

The car gave me problems and I was unable to reach anyone for help. One of the tires had a flat and I had to keep filling it with air. I called AAA but there was no spare and the gel to fill a flat was missing, so they couldn’t do anything. The number for Avis in Santa Barbara said it was out of service and when I called the national number, no one answered.Opinión del 18 oct 2022

I believe this is a problem that may affect some other rental companies too but BEWARE if you make a same day online reservation!! After taking the last of three busses that arrive at Palm Springs Airport, I was told by the rental agent (who was very nice and apologetic) that they were out of vehicles. I was lucky that Hertz had a few albeit the were a class that was more expensive than the compact I wanted. I woulda been stranded. The Avis line at pick up was combined with Budget and was really long. I think we waited about 30-40 min to get a car. They added more staff but the kiosk at the far end that was open for members wasn’t busy at all. It would have been nice to use both areas so the line could have moved faster. Once we got to the front, the staff were very helpful. It just needs to have both kiosks open instead of combining Budget and Avis for pick up.Opinión del 26 feb 2022
