The location was excellent old, outdated, still had analog tv's
spacious room, nice bed and furnishings, very helpful front desk, unbelievably convenient location to downtown attractions and fine dining. dripping bathroom faucet, ac that could not be controlled by thermostat. was offered alternative room that was smaller, much noisier, and also had malfunctioning ac. shower temp was controlled only with difficulty and wasted much water to get warm.
no bugs in the room -Airport shuttle service they provide made me wait for an hour -No internet in the rooms, when ask for help they dont solve it they say 'Everybody has the same issue' -No breakfast even if you pay for 150 per night -No check in before 3pm, but need to checkout before 12am -My room was so cold I asked them to fix it, they told me that they dont have a heater they can only do turning of the ac? Funny right?
I did like the location and The cafe staff are the most friendly. Matthew did make me feel very welcomed and had a super attitude with me and all the other customers seemed satisfied. I have stayed here twice this year and the bathroom shower heads are very low quality no pressure!
I like the outside pool and customer service was great N/a
Bathroom shower was a handicap roll in shower. When you used the shower the bathroom floor flooded soaking the cloths I fooli left on the floor
Doesn't include breakfast
Extremely convenient to airport; we stayed in very nicely decorated new room on 6th floor which was very comfortable. Staff, including shuttle service, was very helpful and nice. Hotel is under renovation so no real options for dining though restaurants are nearby; some floors I gather were very noisy. Rather high sound transmission between rooms.
We so enjoyed the shuttle service. We used it three different times and the driver was wonderful. He even gave us restaurant information and checked that one had gluten free items on it. I would stay again.
Close to Ft Bliss. Free breakfast was a plus, minus the powdered eggs. Check in involved having to wait for someone, who may or may not be a customer, to finish socializing with the front desk help. Going to the 2nd story room involved taking a sketchy elevator which definitely needs upgrading in all areas: cosmetics, structural integrity, mechanics, etc. Entering the room involved having to turn my normal sized suitcase sideways, just to reach the bed. Photo is attached. This is not a 90$ per night hotel. The decor is random, and drab/gaudy at the same time.
Nothing at all Left has soon as we arrived after moving sheets back there was what looked like human feces on the bed no towels in the restroom everything a mess the manager called me and told me they didn't review the room it had not been clean before our arrival never will be staying there again
Beautifully designed with a sense of being outside when u look over the inside balcony. The location and convenience of everything
The Staff was pleasant, Do not know where to start. The property is a dump and under massive renovation. The structure should actually be imploded. While I was there over a two (2) day stay the construction noise level was intense. Workers all around. The a/c barely functioned with the outside temperature hovering around the century mark, Front entrance roped off. 75 % of the rooms gutted. The Hotel should never be accepting guests while under construction.
The Jacuzzi and swimming pool were clean & well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all attentive and courteous.
Not one thing Smelly, mold in bathroom, old out dated television, sticky couches, Would never book ther again.
The lobby, garden area and breakfast bar were nice. Room need maintanance (moldy trims, dirty lamp shades, old fixtures). The bathroom was extremely dirty, there were urine fresh stains on the toilet. It looked like it was a luxury hotel back in the day. Now, it just falls short .
Bed was nice Noise, and room was never cleaned, friendly lady driver who picked me up at airport
The place looks beautiful inside The roof had a leak in breakfast area, where nobody seemed to notice... Complete hazard with kids and especially being pregnant. I called for more towels and soap for the next day never received anything, had to go down and ask the front desk in which he pulled them from the back immediately.
The hotel has been purchased by Embassy Suites and is undergoing a multi-million dollar upgrade. Upgrades are sorely needed. The ongoing work did not impact us. There were signs indicating when there would no longer be breakfast and when the pool would be closed, all due to the upgrades. The enclosed 8-story atrium is pretty nice. The indoor pool is a decent size and there is a hot tub, but my group did not use either. The staff were very polite and check-in and checkout were easy and quick. Our group had 4 rooms. The air conditioners did not work in any of the units. The front desk was told twice but nothing repaired or notes left indicating that they could not be fixed. On the last night, one of our rooms needed to be moved due to the heat. We had a couple rooms on the 3rd floor over the pool. The odor of chlorine was pretty significant. All of the rooms had mold/water damage issues behind the wallpaper, primarily in the bathroom and around the sliding glass door to the small deck. A dirty pair of underwear was adjacent to one of the decks. We were there for 4 days and the breakfast was the same each day (scrambled eggs, a slice of ham, and some chewy potatoes). A large cockroach was observed in the atrium where breakfast is served.
Comfortable bed and linens. Indoor jacuzzi. Living area in hotel. In room amenities: coffee, microwave, fridge. Close to shopping, restaurants and airport.
Room was spacious, lobby colorful, decorative. Easy access, many dinning options in area. Great bargain for the price. Only down side, to get hot water at sink took a bit of time, but did eventually. Areas of the carpet were a bit lumpy.
Rooms were great, clean, comfortable. booked reservation had breakfast included. No breakfast available due to construction being done at hotel. noisy at time due to construction. room rates should of been 10 to 15 % discounted from price paid due the situation or been informed of situation so reservation could of been cancel and reservation made else where.
Great place to stay! Staff was friendly! Centrally located!
Loved the layout and amenities. The bar was fun. The pool and hot tub were very, very clean and nice. The hotel dining, Daniels, was not so impressive. The first night we were there, we went to the dining room and wanted a draft beer. Their draft beer taps weren't working. So 2 of my party ordered 12 inch pizzas. They were out of 12" pizza crusts so they ordered 16". The returned again and said they were out of sauce and starting more that moment but it would be awhile. We paid for the bottled beer and left.
The pool area was nice. After paying the absurd $54 pet fee, my family was designated to a pet room that was reflective of a low end hotel. Drippy faucet, badly stained floors, and peeling paint. Not at all impressed and would not recommend.
Great customer service, clean room, simple check-in and out, good and drink service was amazing
very clean, it's being remodeled to be a Holiday Inn. Staff was very friendly You can't close the thick curtains to aid in the noise and lights coming in from the interstate
