Clean quiet rooms with comfortable beds and lobby coffee service
Clean and friendly No
near the airport location No everything was good
Overall, the location, staff, pool, room service/restaurant and rooms are great. The cleanliness of the rooms are hit and miss; when it's a miss it's definitely something worth saying.
clean, staff friendly and helpful, nice little restaurant/bar on location, conveniently located
This hotel is always on my 'go to' list. The staff at the hotel are amazing and attentive. The pool and room service was the big seller on this trip.
Super clean, close to airport, nice bar and very good restaurant.
Swimming pool Bed bugs! Bed is gross af! Probably didn't change it... The following morning a had this red swollen marks all over may body.
Location, nice lounge and the rooms are kepy up well. Nothing at all.

The quietness. I slept like a baby. Checking in took forever.
New decor. Wonderful staff, especially the short-order breakfast cook. Would have liked to see the edges of the carpet in the hallways cleaned. Did mention this, and they were going to address it.
Embassy Suites is one of my favorite hotels, and the Anchorage location is no exception. The rooms are clean and quiet. The shuttle was a lifesaver. The fitness room was excellent, as was the pool. On this trip we really relied on the laundry facilities and were pleased there were enough washers/dryers so there wasn't a wait to use them or it was very little. Since we traveled in the summer, we also relied on the blackout shades. It was a phenominal experience!
Clean room, friendly, personal staff. great location. Noisy A/C. Price too high in light of property. Price jacked up for summer guests. What about us who are Honors people? Most Garden Inns have a cocktail hour and snacks for business travelers, but not this one.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. No pay-per-view movies
Clean and safe. Perfect central location. Walking distance to TGI Fridays. Golden Coral and Starbucks. Friendly staff and large hot tub.
Attractive decor Not enough towels and supplies
the beds the remodel
clean and close to the airport I could hear the motors of the elevator running all night, very noisy. Police were in at 4:00 am pulling a tenant out of their room. It took an hour to do so which made it impossible to get any sleep.
The young lady that checked us in was very good at her job but she had a lot to do. Only one person at the front desk. We waited 20 minutes to check in, people behind us waited a lot longer.
Hot tub fantastic but facilities could use and upgrade on paint and ceiling. Acoustics are wonderful in there great design to minimize sound.
Lovely hotel, beautiful room
The breakfast and coffee were great. The thin walls, rumbling cars, and aggressive hotel guests with laundry problems.
My husband really enjoyed the breakfast! Everything was clean. Overpriced for the accommodations! No exhaust fan in bathroom!
The overall facility was great. But the room wasn't the bed was to high. I needed help of a chair to get into bed. Even then it was a struggle. The light was set up for charging my phone but it didn't work. The tv remote didn't work. The friendly staff. The place was very clean.
It was a very clean and quiet place too stay. The breakfast is very good too. Great place to stay.
Cheap price that provides you what you need. Friendly staff and travelers from all over. Decent location with food options nearby and a shared kitchen for you to use. Shared bathroom has a toilet and shower with soap/shampoo provided. Sleeping pods were stuffy - no ventilation. Cot was pretty hard and uncomfortable, could use a thin mattress.
The room we stayed in had a parking spot and we were not in a connected hallway. Lots of privacy. it was great for what we needed which was just to crash for the night, shower, and leave early the next day to see more of alaska.
The cost was good and the staff was friendly. I was expecting nothing based on the reviews, but it was actually a fine place to stay.
The hotel is very neat, eclectic place, located in midtown with easy access to most of anchorage. Many amenities are within walking distance. The staff was by far the kindest and friendliest that I have ever encountered (I am a traveling builder and have stayed at hundreds of hotels across North America). There is a nice common area, that is quiet and great for working, but also provides the opportunity to interact with with the hotels other guests, especially during breakfast. If you are looking to make memories, and maybe a friend too, look no further. The stairs to the upper level rooms were outdoors, which didn't really bother me, but may not appeal to some. In my opinion it's a small issue for some, that will be easily forgotten with the Inn's world class customer service.
The place had a unique "feel"... Basic, and very "Alaskan". I liked it... my wife, not so much
Anchorage is full of mediocre but overpriced hotels. This place is less expensive but definitely no frills.
My girlfriend and i knew we would be arriving around 2am from the airport (flight arrival, 1:21am). We called ahead a couple times that night to see if this would be a problem. at around 9pm we were told sometime around 2am would be fine. upon flight arrival we called, before 2am, and were told the door would be open and/or the key would be left out- it was unclear, a red flag. we arrived just after 2am. Doors locked, no one in sight. we got into an open door in the hallway that accessed our room but couldn't find any key to the locked room. we knocked "politely" on the trailer door as a note said to do if one was locked out after hours. No one answered. we knocked louder. returning a couple times to do so. We called the same number that no longer picked up. We left around 3am to walk to find another hotel. Although many reviews warned "save your money" we figured we'd be fine with Qupqugiaq because we'd stayed at dirt cheap places in India, Belize, Nicaragua, Mexico, etc. We figured our standards were low enough. Now i'd say the same, "save your money" to anyone arriving anytime near 2am. We'd have preferred they told us our late arrival would have been a problem.
Cool place Better pillows
Good beds, hot showers, nice vibe. Quirky in a nice way. The place goes for soul and hits the mark.
The staff was very polite and helpful Sharing a bathroom for the price.
The hotel seemed relatively empty on a day that most hotels in Anchorage were full. There was free parking and free Wi-Fi. The staff was efficient and there were no waits. The location is a bit odd and not particularly convenient to anywhere unless you have a rental car, which we did. The decor is a bit cheesy and the room is a bit small for an extended stay hotel, but larger than most of the hotels downtown.
location and price manger needs to work on her customer relations abit
The room was filthy! We asked for an extra pillow and they were "out" the whole time we were there. If you want extra towels, you have to bring your dirty towels to the front desk and IF they have any they might let you have one. The kitchenette is not stocked with anything, but you can ask for some stuff...good luck getting any. I would not recommend this place.
When I checked in the lady was rude and unprofessional
